Ellie Goulding & BURNS’ “Midas Touch”: Watch The Shiny, Heartbreaking Video
Ellie Goulding has served up the 3D animated video for her BURNS collaboration — a cover of Midnight Star‘s “Midas Touch” — on the same day as her full Halcyon Days release. The simple, emotional clip features a statue of a woman made of gold, who suddenly comes to life. She catches the object of her affection a few yards away: a man made of stone. She tries to walk over to free him from his frozen state, but unseen forces cause her break apart along the way.
Eventually our heroine is able to put her Midas touch on stone figure — but at what price? Watch Ellie’s latest visual above.
