:: Remember that tragic night three years ago when Nicki Minaj destroyed our eyes and ears with her religion-themed Grammy performance of “Roman Holiday”? Well, the awards are now saying they’re sorry. Show producer Ken Elrich regrets booking the rapper for that night. “I was not proud of what we did with Nicki Minaj three years ago. I thought that was a disappointment both in terms of what we did and to an extent what she did,” he said. :: Kenny G is the main behind the infamous Starbucks Frappuccino drink — well, that’s what he wants you to think. In an interview with Bloomberg, the jazz saxophonist joked that he’s responsible for the coffee creation. “At the beginning, Starbucks didn’t have anything but coffee. And there was another company, Coffee Bean, that had something called “blended” that was a sweet drink, and people were lined up around the block,” he explained. “And I would always call Howard and say, ‘Howard, there’s this thing that they do there that’s like a milkshake or whatever’.” [Stereogum]
