Cheryl Cole — sorry, we mean just plain Cheryl — peeks out at us from the cover of her third studio album A Million Lights. This album art is certainly an improvement over the mess that was her Messy Little Raindrops cover, but still — where’s the name of the album? Why have you forsaken your last name, Ms. Cole? And how much volumizer did you use on your hair? This album cover is 65% hair.

Head below for the tracklist, which seriously includes a song called “Sexy Den A Mutha.”  More »

With the green background, butterflies in her hair and viny, rainbow-colored font on her official “Wide Awake” single artwork, Katy Perry looks like a flower child who’s getting back to nature — well, except for the fact that purple hair isn’t all that natural, is it? “I think sometimes people think we’re perfect. And we know we’re not perfect at all,” Perry said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today while talking about upcoming 3-D documentary Katy Perry: Part Of Me. “I think it’s important to start breaking down the idea that to achieve your dream you have to always be perfect or flawless or live in some kind of fantasy world.”

Well, okay — we’ll buy that. Though Katy does look look pretty fantastic on the “Wide Awake” cover.

With Kylie Minogue celebrating her 25 years in the music business, you’d expect there to be a hits package of some sort in the pipeline. But while we were hoping for something more along the lines of a box set compiling her complete singles discography (sigh), we’ll have to settle for the 21-track The Best Of Kylie Minogue, which is scheduled for a June 19 release.

According to a press release, the songs included “were chosen by the fans through extensive market research conducted by EMI late last year.” It’s a bit heavy on the covers, if you ask us (“The Loco-Motion”, “Tears On My Pillow”, “Give Me Just A Little More Time”, “Celebration”), and unfortunately there are no new singles or bonus unreleased tunes to be found here. But okay, okay — we’ll stop grumbling. Catch the tracklist after the jump. More »

Kanye West‘s “flu” has just been downgraded to a common “Cold.” Yeezy’s Kim Kardashian-approved song “Theraflu” has lost its attention-grabbing brand name and been redubbed with the shiver-inducing title “Way Too Cold,” which at least sounds like a condition that might then lend one to need to seek out some Theraflu. But the recently-unveiled album artwork isn’t nearly so chilly — featuring a decapitated, bare-breasted woman in a fur coat whose head has been replaced by a tiny bottle of milk. (Now that’s a condition not even Theraflu will help with.) See the artistically-NSFW cover below. More »

Adam Lambert‘s profile — and oversized circle frame glasses — make an appearance on the cover art for “Never Close Our Eyes”, the second single off his sophomore album Trespassing (May 15). Glambert tweeted out the single cover of his Bruno Mars-penned tune today. For those hoping for something a bit more upbeat than “Better Than I Know Myself”, don’t be dismayed by the low-key acoustic performance Adam delivered last month: the studio recording is absolutely bangin’.
