Two songs by Jason Derulo make the first list, which we find hard to believe simply because it’s difficult to accept the idea than any Jason Derulo songs would appear on any list. Secondly, people who have just joined coupledom apparently have a dark outlook on their relationship, as Lil Wayne’s infinitely depressing “How To Love” and Britney Spears’ “Criminal” (about how bad a guy is for her) made the same list.

As for those newly-single peeps, why, they’re free to listen to whatever they want! On the list are happy love songs (“Love You Like A Love Song”) moody tunes (“It Will Rain”), and a whole lot of randomness — we know “We Found Love” revolves around a hopeless place, but the song isn’t exactly mournful, is it?

While Nicki Minaj appears to be pulling her hair out on the latest cover of Paper, the Grammy nominee couldn’t be more pleasant and accommodating in her interview. The 59-year-old disco legend continued to talk about his songwriting session and his relationship with the duo:

“It’s funny, I’ve known Daft Punk for some time now but we were never really close – we never got a chance to hang out with each other, we would just meet in passing,” he happily continued. “So today was the first chance we had to spend hours and hours together and it was just so awesome. Every track they played I just ran across the room and got my guitar and started playing and we were all dancing around my dining room having the time of our lives. It was something that was meant to be. It was interesting how Thomas said to me: ‘It’s funny Nile, it’s like we’ve completed the circle’. We’ve always just met, just had a moment to talk and then finally today we just said, this is something that has to happen.”

Nile Rodgers — who recently beat an aggressive form of prostate cancer — has created an impressive career writing and producing hits for a multitude of artists: David Bowie, Madonna, Duran Duran, Diana Ross, and most recently with Adam Lambert on his sophomore album Trespassing. He was also an original member of the disco act Chic, responsible for hits like “Le Freak”.

Daft Punk scored the soundtrack for 2010 film Tron: Legacy (which brought them into the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 for the first time) and dropped a live concert recording, Alive 2007, but have not released a studio album since 2005’s Human After All.

“I started having trouble with girls in middle school,” Lady Gaga said. “I always knew that I wanted to do something very career oriented, and I always wanted to be a musician.”

After recounting a few personal stories about combating bullying as a teenager, the founder of The Born This Way Foundation asked if anyone in the crowd had a question. A long line formed almost immediately. One woman asked the pop star, “I struggle with body issues, and I know you’re so confident in the way you dress. And I am wondering how you deal with such issues?”

Lady Gaga answered her by revealing that she used to suffer from bulimia. “I used to throw up all the time in high school,” Gaga said. “So I’m not that confident. And maybe it’s easier for me to talk about it now because I don’t do it anymore.”

“I wanted to be a skinny little ballerina but I was a voluptuous little Italian girl whose dad had meatballs on the table every night,” she continued. “I used to come home and say, ‘Dad, why do you always give us this food? I need to be thin.’ And he’d say, ‘Eat your spaghetti.’”

“It’s really hard. But … you’ve got to talk to somebody about it. And the fact that you stood up in front of this whole room and said that is so incredible.”

“Every video I’m in, every magazine cover, they stretch you; they make you perfect,” added Gaga. “It’s not real life. I’m gonna say this about girls: The dieting wars have got to stop. Everyone just knock it off. Because at the end of the day, it’s affecting kids your age. And it’s making girls sick.”

As to why she decided to stop throwing up, Gaga told Shriver, “It made my voice bad. So I had to stop. The acid on your vocal chords — it’s very bad. But for those of you who don’t sing, you maybe don’t have that excuse until it’s too late. It’s very dangerous.”

“I’m encouraging you to know what you’re worth,” the singer declared to the full auditorium. “And know that no matter who has more money in class, who has more stuff, who has a country house – nobody is worth more than anybody else.”
