You can probably guess who dominated this year’s Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) in Hong Kong. Yes — it was PSY, King of YouTube. But as far as performances go, Adam Lambert brought the house down performing “Whataya Want From Me” and “Trespassing” in a seriously fierce black-and-yellow spiky leather jacket. Most times, when people break into your house, they had some ill intentions. But Ke$ha? She just wants to play music with you! The “C’mon” songbird dropped by the UK’s Graham Norton Show to perform “Die Young,” and afterward recounted her tales of breaking into celebrities’ homes — including Prince, who was apparently playing guitar at the time. Also on the panel were Joan Rivers and Jake Gyllenhaal, yet K$ managed to hog the spotlight, and she either genuinely doesn’t know that her album Warrior comes out on Tuesday or she just likes to play dumb. There’s not much chance Katy Perry will be voting Romney. After debuting her ballot dress (with Obama’s bubble filled in) a couple weeks ago, the “Wide Awake” singer appeared on the President’s behalf for a free show in Milwaukee, where she performed a cover of Al Green‘s “Let’s Stay Together” along with her own hits. And once again she was rocking a Barack-inspired dress, this time a blue one emblazoned with the word “Forward” (his campaign slogan, as well as Wisconsin’s state motto). More »

Taylor Swift‘s Red promotional tour reached a major apex today with a pair of performances in Rockefeller Center for Good Morning America, where Swift performed her lead single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” as well as the album’s title track. While Swift has performed “Together” a handful of times, she had only performed “Red” once previously — at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards — marking the GMA performance as the song’s debut to stateside viewers. Boy band of the moment One Direction repeated their recent US triumph at the MTV VMAs by emerging victorious from this past weekend’s BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards. The event, held at London’s Wembley Stadium, saw the lads take home the statues for Best Single (“One Thing”), Best Album (Up All Night) and Best Music Act. The guys performed their, um, “classic” 1D tunes “What Makes You Beautiful” and “Up All Night,” as well as their new single “Live While We’re Young.” Member Liam Payne also showed off his newly-shorn head.
