@noamjamski: Man, I'm so old that I was hipped to that KJ record by the hardcore kids in my high school, probably about the same time James was taping Lar's copy of it. But, indeed, it had a mighty impact.

But thanks for this; my girlfriend is gonna love it. Me, as far as metal went I really liked them before they became rock stars but they seemed to get progressively more lame as I lost my taste for metal. But hearing this is a kick and reminds me of why it could be so fuckin' excellent. It's just the guitar solos. I, for one, was happy when punk rock cut down on guitar solos.
