Darren Criss And Matt Bomer Duet On ‘Glee’: Watch

April 3rd, 2012 // 1 Comment

Though Glee had a tendency to shoot for fish in a barrel and cover #1 hits and major songs from some of music’s biggest artists, it also acts as a launchpad for some lesser known acts. The show helped fun.’s “We Are Young” top the charts and gave Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers” some airtime, and now we have Darren Criss and his on-screen brother (played Matt Bomer) perform Gotye’s collaboration with Kimbra, “Somebody That I Used To Know.” Watch below. Christina Aguilera Gifts Andy Cohen Her ‘Voice’ Saucer Hat: Watch

April 3rd, 2012 // Leave a Comment

Viewers of The Voice may be sad to see Christina Aguilera’s shiny black saucer hat make its exit, but one show’s loss is another show’s gain. Lakers fan Xtina phoned in to Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live last night to have a chat with host Andy Cohen, who is clearly obsessed with the singer/talent coach’s headpiece. “Christina, I’m gonna miss that crazy saucer,” Andy exclaimed. Lucky for Cohen, Aguilera had a surprise delivery for him. Watch below!

‘The Voice’: It’s Finally Time To Vote

April 3rd, 2012 // 3 Comments

Voting is finally in the hands of the viewers on The Voice, and so it behooves us to remind you, with great power comes great responsibility. (Otherwise, this happens.) Twelve artists performed from Team Blake and Team Christina, while Carson struggled to explain the highly complicated voting process on last night’s episode. If only the winning team were determined by each judge’s wardrobe choices, Cee Lo could grasp himself a sequined, fringed victory, with Christina nipping at his heels. More »

Viewers of the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards were treated to a rowdy performance of “What Makes You Beautiful” by British boy band One Direction that got Taylor Swift dancing in the aisles, as well as Katy Perry zip-lining onto the stage in warrior princess garb to sing her chart-topping smash “Part Of Me”. We hate to say it, but only one of these acts didn’t have off-key moments while belting out their vocals, and it wasn’t the quintet from overseas. Head below to see Katy and 1D perform, Justin Bieber and Chris Colfer get slimed and the full list of winners at this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards!

2012 Kids Choice Awards: Selena Gomez Chats About Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend”

April 1st, 2012 // 1 Comment

Selena Gomez is the only woman in the world for whom Justin Bieber’s song “Boyfriend” is not wishful thinking. (Though it’d be even more appropriate if it was called “Fiance” — right?) Yesterday she traversed the orange carpet at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards to share her thoughts on the single, calling it a “great song.” Additionally, E! asked Skrillex’s buddy about being arrested in her new movie Spring Breakers — and how exciting it was to be fake-arrested in the film. Watch below.

Surprisingly, during her 25 years as an entertainer, Debbie Gibson has never appeared on The Tonight Show. That slight got corrected last night, as the Celebrity Apprentice star sat down with Jay Leno to talk about her long career — including stints on Broadway in Cabaret and starring alongside Tiffany in the 2011 flick Mega Python Vs. Gatoroid. Leno also aired the Apprentice clip where the pop star flashed a little too much to the cameras during a battle at Medieval Times. Shake your love below to watch Debbie’s inaugural visit to Tonight!

Lamar also shared quite an interesting encounter with none other than Dr. Dre. Watch below, and look out for Lamar at yet another high-profile music fest next month. More »

One Direction Surprise Their MuchMusic Super Fans In Canada

March 27th, 2012 // Leave a Comment

Canada’s MuchMusic is very much in tune with One Direction, and so 40 randomly-selected fans of the spaghetti-loving UK boy band were selected to take part in a New.Music.Live. special about their idols. Little did the gaggle of screaming girls know, however, that a curtain would drop and the chart-dominating quintet would be there in person to surprise them. The episode doesn’t air until April 20 (i.e. a month before One Direction’s North American tour kicks off), but you can catch a quick preview below.

Train “Drive By” The ‘Late Show’

March 27th, 2012 // Leave a Comment

Last week we gave you a sneak peek at the making of Train’s video for latest hit “Drive By”, and last night the west coast band hit up the Late Show With David Letterman to give their first live TV performance of the rocking single. Singer Pat Monahan bounced around on stage while belting out the the first offering from California 37 (out April 17), and afterward Letterman quipped, “A lot of guys would come out here and make a big, big deal about it, but they don’t, they’re so cool — on drums, Robert Redford. They don’t say a word about it.” Catch the resemblance below.
