Jason Castro Makes An Extremely Subtle Cameo On ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’

American Idol's dreadlocked wonder—no, not Crystal Bowersox, the other one—Jason Castro appeared on The Bold And The Beautiful this week, playing himself. Castro performed his song "Love Uncompromised" and gave new meaning to the word "obvious." (Seriously—they couldn't have given him a mustache and had him play a character called Juan Castro or something?) Videos below.

Given news of the changing lineup of American Idol judges that began breaking yesterday, Matt Lauer was probably ecstatic that the Today Show had Season 4 winner Carrie Underwood booked to perform for the program's summer concert series this morning. That said, when he inevitably questioned her about the shakeup—especially with regards to the supposed ousting of Kara DioGuardi—she gave a perfect non-answer. Watch below.

Solange Knowles And Of Montreal Give Jimmy Fallon Good “Sex Karma”

Yo Gabba Gabba faves of Montreal and the lovely Solange Knowles followed up their live cover of Jackson 5's "I Want You Back" by appearing together on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night. The pairing saw the band decked out in white face makeup as they performed the song "Sex Karma" with mimes sitting behind them and drinking milk. Meanwhile, Solange just danced joyously and sang her parts on the track, which will appear on of Montreal's upcoming LP False Priest (out September 14—along with just about every other album). Rick Ross Raps With Diddy-Dirty Money On ‘Lopez Tonight’

Rick Ross, who appears on the cover of VIBE's annual Juice issue with Diddy, joined the Dirty Money crew on Lopez Tonight to lend his rap from the "Hello Good Morning" remix to their live performance of the song. As noted before, Dirty Money's Last Train To Paris album has now been pushed back to a September 20 release date. But that hasn't slowed airplay of the single (or Diddy's TV performances of it) down. Probably from too much celebrating of her 18th birthday (that or an evil sea witch stole her voice), Selena Gomez developed laryngitis.
