Trent Reznor Hasn’t Sworn Off The Road Just Yet

medium_nin1medRemember when Trent Reznor said he would be taking a hiatus after this summer of tour dates? Well, he’s decided to extend that hiatus just a little bit, with series of shows in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Because he can! (And he can call people names on the Internet, too!) MORE »

The tentative roster of dates after the jump, so you can start preparing to get out of the way of the massive blitz of egomania that may be coming to an arena near you. MORE »

Dinosaur Jr. Get Ready To Ride Across North America

Dinosaur Jr. have added a slew of fall dates in the U.S. and Canada to their 2009 tour supporting their just-released album Farm. Is Hearing Aerosmith’s “Rocks” Live In Its Entirety Worth 95 Clams?

rocksThis is the question I must ask myself with the news that the band will perform either Rocks (which is one of my all-time favorite albums, straight up) or the similarly seminal Toys In The Attic in their entirety during the first few weeks of their summer tour with ZZ Top, which started last week and stops at my local shed later this month. The cheapest seats via Live Nation’s site are $95 (plus service charges) as of this writing; mezzanine tickets, which only cost $41, aren’t available on Live Nation, and they’re bottoming out at $90 on StubHub. I guess this means GaGa wasn’t all that steamed about the video leak! [Sorry About Linking To Perez; HT Reed Fischer] MORE »

psb2The Pet Shop Boys are bringing their Pandemonium Tour–”a multi-media show that will include Pet Shop Boys’ greatest hits and celebrate the new album,” directed by PSB and Kanye West collaborator Es Devlin–to North America later this summer, with dates scattered across the country. Full schedule after the jump! MORE »

greendayFrom the looks of their tour openers, it would seem that Green Day is still pretty nostalgic for the year that American Idiot came out: Franz Ferdinand, the Kaiser Chiefs, and the Bravery will open for the band as they crisscross the world from July to October. No, really, I swear this story isn’t a piece from 2004 that had a re-datestamped version of it horked up by Google News! Here’s proof! [LiveDaily] MORE »
