Justin Bieber Fan Shows Appreciation By Throwing A Water Bottle At His Head

August 9th, 2010 // 3 Comments

Now, kiddies, if you’re going through the trouble of spending all your allowance on a Justin Bieber concert ticket, don’t irritate the guy by whipping your drink at him. The below footage of the multiple Teen Choice Awards winner at a Sacramento 107.9 The End gig looks a little old, but it also looks a little painful, too. At least Justin was a good sport about getting dinged in the head by an audience member’s water bottle.

August 6th, 2010 // 4 Comments

Many think Snoop Dogg may be jacking the Old Spice Guy’s style by posting video responses to his Twitter followers (the famous ones, at least), but Snoop isn’t ripping-off anybody. “Been doin these vids long before the old spice guy jacked my swagger,” tweeted the hip hop legend. “Keep a close watch we just gettin started!”

August 3rd, 2010 // 1 Comment

#PredictingKanyeTweets is so two days ago. Now #KanyeNewYorkerTweets is the hashtag of the moment in regards to everyone’s favorite new Twitter member. Comedy writers Paul Sabourin and Josh Cagen have turned the rapper’s eccentric and entertaining status updates (why girls from Stockholm be so fresh????!!!!) into New Yorker cartoons, and you can check out an extensive collection surging over at Buzzfeed or check them all out at Cagen’s twitpic page. Kanye has yet to retweet the cartoons, but it’s only a matter of time. (FYI, a subscription to the New Yorker is only $39.95, so if you’re Kanye West, you may as well throw that on top of the $87,000 Vulture discovered you spend in one week’s time.)

July 27th, 2010 // 4 Comments

Note to Justin Bieber: if you want to escape from your rabid, flesh-eating (we’re assuming they would devour your tattooed flesh if they ever got ahold of you) fan base waiting for you outside your concert, you might want to use those colorful kicks of yours instead of trying to outrun them on a Segway. Just a suggestion. Video of The Great Bieber Escape below. More »

July 21st, 2010 // 5 Comments

YouTube user Michael Barsenas recently took to the online video channel to vent his fury over the G-rated version of Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro” that appears on the latest Kidz Bop compilation. “Don’t put Lady Gaga on there and then butcher it just to make it appropriate, when it already was appropriate,” he reasons. The Gaga fan then goes on to discuss his favorite music video at the moment. (And you’ll never guess what it is.) We’re just wondering what he thinks of Kidz Bop’s retooling of “Telephone,” which also appears on the just-released kiddie collection. Hear that one—and watch Michael’s rant—below.

Depending on your tolerance for Will Ferrell’s voice in this ESPY Awards skit where he portrays Jeff Vuvuzela, inventor of the Vuvuzela instrument used at the World Cup, you might enjoy Janelle Monae’s duet with the comedian.
