There Are Michael Jackson Scarecrows — No, Really

One gentleman in Taiwan apparently believes that Michael Jackson is frightening enough to ward birds off from crops, and has begun constructing scarecrows in the King Of Pop’s likeness. (The irony being that Jacko played “Scarecrow” in the 1978 big screen adaptation of The Wiz.) Even more horrific—the main MJ prop profiled in the following news item shows the deceased entertainer in mid-crotch-grab. Give yourself a cheap thriller by watching below.

Lady Gaga’s Hits Are Given Some Team Spirit Via The Wolf Pack Marching Band

Internet jokesters Key Of Awesome spoofed the videos of Adam Lambert, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and any other giant pop act brave enough to make a music video today. While we’re waiting for them to top this brilliant frat boy send-up of Kanye West’s “Power”, we have their parody of Eminem and Rihanna’s dramatic clip for “Love The Way You Lie”. Katy Perry Crashes An Australian Prom With The “Single Ladies” Dance

Katy Perry crashed a prom in Melbourne, Australia while she was Down Undah promoting Teenage Dream, and apparently the newly bob’d pop star’s 15-minute cameo at the school dance was big enough to make the nightly news. We don’t know what’s funnier: Katy attempting to do the “Single Ladies” dance in front of 500 screaming students, or the post-Perry interviews with two shocked teenagers and one seriously snarky teacher. YouTube User (Sort Of) De-Sexes And De-Snoops “California Gurls”

Despite Vulture doing an astoundingly thorough slide show of the Dos and Don’ts Of Parodying “California Gurls” on YouTube, they somehow missed this absolute treasure—a straight forward cover by Nichole337. Granted, it’s not exactly a parody. But it’s noteworthy because the peppy chanteuse manages to defiantly omit not only the word “sex,” but also Snoop Dogg’s entire rap. (All other intact innuendo seems to have gone over her head, though.) Instead, she chooses to just wobble back and forth joyously during the West Coast rapper’s rhymin’. And as for Nichole’s vocals—well, let’s just say Katy Perry doesn’t have anything to worry about. Marvel below!
