One Direction Expected To Make $1 Billion By The End Of 2013
It looks like the overwhelming support from Directioners is literally paying off! According to E! News, One Direction will rake in $1 billion by the end of this year. More than half of that massive number comes from concert ticket sales alone, and the British boy band are expected to earn approximately $150 million from their upcoming film This Is Us as well as $15 million from their Up All Night: The Live Tour DVD.
But it doesn’t end there! 1B — err 1D — have sold over 30 million records, which has brought in $300 million. And that merchandise with their adorable faces plastered all over them? $67.5 million! Looks like the boys can continue spending money on all those tattoos (not that they necessarily should).
