Diddy’s “Cîroc Star” Video Features Most Obvious Product Placement Of All Time

It's hardly unusual to see a big artist use their music videos to cross-promote their outside business ventures: Lady Gaga, you may have noticed, donned her Heartbeats headphones in "Bad Romance," and just about every artist with a fashion line finds a way to name-check it on camera. But Diddy, whose appetite for self-promotion knows no bounds, has taken entrepreneurialism to new heights (or depths?) in his video for "Cîroc Star." Diddy teamed up with Chester French, DJ Clinton Sparks and fellow nightclub enthusiasts in Las Vegas for his latest vid, which seems to exist simply to pimp Diddy's vodka brand. Catch the commercial video below, in which the titular product isn't so much "placed" as it is "shown from every conceivable angle every 15 seconds."

What do Clint Eastwood, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Martin Scorsese, and Justin Timberlake all have in common? They have all been awarded Man of the Year by Harvard’s Hasty Pudding theatrical troupe. The singer, dancer, and SNL Digital Short magic-maker made history when he accepted the award this weekend. Traditionally, the Hasty Pudding award is bestowed along with a roast and a parade. Timberlake donned a wig, heels, and a gift box bra to join in the fun. Justin’s win has opened the door for other Hasty Pudding hopefuls. Who will the Harvard troupe honor next year? _________. Kevin Rudolf’s “I Made It” Video Features A Smiling, Jail-Bound Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne begins his one-year jail term tomorrow, but he was able to squeeze in a performance at the Grammys, adding vocals to "We Are The World," the release of Rebirth and the premiere of Kevin Rudolf's music video for "I Made It" before shipping off to the clink. The Rudolf clip—which also features Birdman and Jay Sean—is hardly groundbreaking, though it does feature the Cash Money crew all wearing smiles and looking like they're having a good time.
The end of the video bears the slogan "Cash Money Records Established 1990: We Made It." Despite the upbeat attitude and current success of the label, you can't help but wonder how Weezy's impending stint in prison—and his absence over the next year—will ultimately affect everyone involved. More »

Jay-Z And E.S. Posthumus “Run This Town” During The Super Bowl

This year's Super Bowl may have featured aging rock icons during halftime, but genuinely relevant pop and hip-hop stars seemed to run the rest of the show. Beyoncé was snatched up by a claw for Vizio and T-Pain peddled Bud Light during the commercial breaks, and even Young Jeezy got into the game by penning his own "Who Dat?" ode to MVP Reggie Bush. But the musical highlight of Super Bowl XLIV had to be its opening: a smoldering Jay-Z performance of "Run This Town", mashed up with the CBS NFL theme song and accompanied by classical/electronic group E.S. T-Pain Pimps Himself Out To Bud Light’s Super Bowl Commercial

If Auto-Tune overuse wasn't already on the brink of being utterly out of control, Bud Light gave it a hearty shove over the precipice with its "Voice Box" Super Bowl commercial. The gist of the clip is that, hey, you don't have to be T-Pain to be an electronic-voiced party pimp. You just need to drink Bud Light! Of course, having the "Reverse Cowgirl" expert show up at your shindig doesn't hurt, either, as he does in the ad. (Jamie Foxx and Lil Wayne must have had prior engagements.)

Beyonce And The Internet’s Finest Appear In The VIZIO Forge Super Bowl Ad

If your dream has always been to see multiple Grammy winner Beyonce, the blue Twitter bird, Tay Zonday and Gary Brolsma (aka the Numa Numa Guy), er, perform together, then you need look no further than the VIZIO commercial that aired during the Super Bowl yesterday.
In the meme-filled ad, Bey is gyrating around in a red dress while singing her hit "Sweet Dreams" when a giant mechanical arm whisks her and the rest of the "Best Of The Internet" off—presumably collecting them so you can watch on your HDTV. Of course, we just bought a Panasonic, so, sorry, VIZIO—maybe in about ten more years. Until then, we'll just watch the clip below. More »

Watch Susan Boyle And Leona Lewis In The Helping Haiti “Everybody Hurts” Video

The Helping Haiti video for "Everybody Hurts" is pretty much standard charity single fare—clips of the stars singing interspersed with (often graphic) footage of victims of the disastrous earthquake that rocked Haiti last month.
Simon Cowell organized the project, and wrangled in the likes of Susan Boyle, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Kylie Minogue, Take That, Bon Jovi, Leona Lewis, Robbie Williams, JLS, James Blunt, Joe McElderry and Alexandra Burke to sing on the R.E.M. cover. The song was made available on UK iTunes Sunday, and shot to #1 there by the afternoon.

There's a new man in Miley's life, and he's a lot older than her Aussie beau Liam Hemsworth—after working for charity TWLOHA together, Miley and Joaquin Phoenix have allegedly struck up an odd friendship. Does this mean she'll make a cameo on his "brilliant album of great music"? It makes as much sense as her collaborating with Timbaland on Shock Value II. Plus Joaquin and Miley could cover a Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash classic. Perfect!

Hollywood Can Breathe Easy—Ke$ha’s Prank A Hoax

In case you were truly concerned that Ke$ha and her buds had actually defamed the iconic Hollywood sign by spray-painting the rambuctious pop singer's name on it, you can sleep well tonight: it was just a hoax. (Whew!) EW's Music Mix contacted the Hollywood Sign Trust and they assured that not only had no vandalism taken place at the site, a prank like that would be virtually impossible to accomplish. Since the only true obstacle was her imagination, we're just left wondering why Ke$ha didn't spring for a more creative prank to punk the world. Tweeting that she's carrying Grammy co-presenter Justin Bieber's love child? Now that we could see causing an uproar.
