I could care less what you think of Christians-- but I am appalled by your misrecognition of the ancient Scottish sport of shinty in the Runrig video/album-cover as "field hockey." That's the real blasphemy!

Billy Bragg-- "Levi Stubb's Tears;" and a traditional Irish trilogy: "Carrickfergus" (Van Morrison nails a great version), "The Butcher Boy" (Sinead O'Connor's version from the film of the same name gets the job done) and "Peggy Gordon."

Lots of possibilities, really:
Velvet Underground- "Train Comin' Around the Bend"
Joy Division- "Interzone"
New Order-- both "Ultraviolence" and "Ecstasy" (luckily the rest of the album more than makes up for it)
Tom Waits- "Blind Love"
The Replacements- "Gary's Got a Boner"
(I know all of the theoretical conceptual reasons as to why you aren't supposed to hiold songs like that against them.
