Lieutenant 030 commented on Where Were You The Last Time Guns N' Roses Released A New Album?, at 12:32 PM on Nov 17 Finally had a permanent job (well, "permanent" until earlier this year), had an apartment of my own, still sometimes hanging out with an ex-girlfriend but also with another woman who usually just wanted to be friends, getting away from reading science fiction a bit, going out to see local bands a lot, discovering shoegazer bands like Ride and listening to other pre-grunge alternative rock, and generally ignoring the existence of Guns 'n' Roses. It was a great and mostly carefree time, before things with that second woman got weird and my best friend was transferred a thousand miles away and the 90s began to suck in earnest. more »
