Hey--all the +1s you'd like for wading into that Jezebel thread today. Not that you need me to validate you, but you acquitted yourself beautifully over there. I auditioned for a different username for Jezebel because because I don't want the Deadspin kids to see when I talk about boys and sex and periods and stuff.

Well, you can't stop him from being a prick, but he *is* ducking you if he won't play by your rules. Like you said, you have a good life: if his biggest victory of the day is winning at Double Dash, just smile to yourself and let him have his glory.

But if I were that guy, I'd absolutely take you up and play by your rules. Whenever I win in a fighting game with a low-tier character, I get accused of being "afraid" to fight with the best characters in the game. I guess they assume my skills just won't measure up.

I always call their bluff, and more often than not I wipe the floor with them even if I let them choose my character.
