Taylor McKnight commented on Stretch YouTube Videos to Fit Your Browser Width, at 5:19 PM on Sep 17, 2007 Chime.TV (my website) provides a bookmarklet ( grab it at [chime.tv] ) that you can click on any youtube page, and it will pull into our Chime.TV interface where you can resize it to ANY width (first click on the video in Chime.TV to hide the controls). You also get the same effect by simply prefacing the URL like so: [chime.tv] ( chime.tv/www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PM9yhfYFLw ) You can also use permalink to a video with all the controls hidden like so: [chime.tv] ( chime.tv/v/19cnb_zoom ) Personally, I'd find it annoying to have to adjust the browser window size to get the video size I want, but of course I'm biased. more » [lifehacker]
