krylonultraflat commented on Procter & Gamble: Pringles Are Not Potato Chips,
at 10:59 AM on Jul 5
I thought the only reason Pringles labels themselves as "Crisps" in America is because Lays sued the hell out of P&G when they first came on the market in order to prevent them from being called Chips.

Another + for leathermen: they give you knives worth damn.
I've gone through many a micra and the blades have always been sharp from day one through day "damn I lost the thing again."
I want a skeletool but know the same thing will happen in a week, so no sense throwing 60$ out the window.

krylonultraflat commented on The Gap Is Dead; Long Live H&M. So Do You Buy More Or Less Regrettable Clothing Now?,

I went to have a suit tailored once, and again to shop for dress shoes, and got leaned on pretty heavy to buy something else while I was there both times.
Later I was in the bridal party for a wedding in Florida (as an "attendant," don't ask).

krylonultraflat commented on UnitedHealth Takes Potential $1.3 Billion Fine Seriously,
at 5:50 PM on Jan 29
Wait a second, Blue Shield just got fined 12 million in California for unfairly revoking coverage for insured people AFTER they got sick.
12 million for overtly screwing people
1.3 billion for not dotting your i's and crossing your t's when it comes to paying your bills.
Does this seem a little disparate to anyone else?
