February 8, 2009: Chris Brown attacks Rihanna during a fight the couple have in a car after attending Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammy party. Both artists miss their scheduled appearances at the Grammys the following day. Brown was later charged with felony assault and making criminal threats, and accepted a plea deal of community service, probation and domestic violence classes.
