Madonna's 12th studio album MDNA debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 in April after selling 359,000 copies in its first week. Some cried foul, however, as roughly 185,000 of those copies were through a concert deal where fans received the album with a ticket purchase. Subtracting those numbers would have put Lionel Richie's Tuskegee at the top of the chart. The following week MDNA suffered the biggest sales drop for a #1 album in Nielsen SoundScan history.
