By now the world is well versed on the award-winning heartache anthems Adele Adkins has offered up — anguished tunes like “Rolling In The Deep”, “Chasing Pavements” and “Someone Like You”. The fact that the Londoner’s blockbuster sophomore album 21 has sold 10 million copies in the US alone, in the age of music piracy, makes her a music force to be reckoned with. And then there’s the small matter of the nearly 80 awards she has laying around at home (including eight Grammys).
