The cover of R.E.M.'s sixth album Green was actually more orangeish-yellow in color, but, oh, well — a minor technicality. The LP was the Athens, Georgia band's major label debut (on Warner Bros.), and it contained what was then their biggest chart hit to-date, "Stand."
