Women About To Pop: Eva Simons

Eva Simons
It’s taken Eva Simons a decade of hard work to become an overnight sensation. The recent UK chart-topper – courtesy of a feature on will.i.am’s “This Is Love” – began her career in an ill-fated girlband before going solo and scoring a minor international hit with the still-majestic “Silly Boy”. That anthem led to a duet with a duet with Chris Brown (“Pass Out” from Breezy’s 2009 opus Graffiti) and vocal duties on Afrojack’s top 50 crossover hit “Take Over Control”. Now signed to Interscope, Eva has continued her upward trajectory with a support slot on LMFAO’s tour and recently topped the club charts with “I Don’t Like You”. The title hurts our feelings because we’re more than a little fond of the Mohawk-sporting pop star.
