Nicole Scherzinger Looks Smokin’ Hot In Her “Wet” Video

Wed Aug 3 2011 by Idolator Staff
Future X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger raises temperatures in her sexy "Wet" video. The clip picks up where "Right There" left off — with Enrique's former duet partner working up a sweat with choreography that would make the other Pussycat Dolls blush. The 33-year-old struts her stuff in an abandoned warehouse with only a group of scantily clad friends and a tap to keep her company. We're not complaining. Grab an umbrella and check out the Adele-loving diva's new video after the jump. More »

Thu Jul 14 2011 by Idolator Staff
Los Angelenos showed Nicole Scherzinger some Killer Love on Tuesday night, appearing at Universal CityWalk to watch the "Wet" diva perform some tracks from her upcoming LP. Fresh from her guest appearance in Simon Cowell's nightmares, the tropical songbird showed off her Pussycat Dolls-honed dance moves during performances of "Right There" and "Don't Hold Your Breath." We don't know what fellow X Factor judges Simon, Paula, and L.A. Reid would think, but in our opinion, it's probably worth checking it out below. More »

Nicole Scherzinger Does “When I Grow Up” And “Don’t Hold Your Breath” On ‘Dans Avec Le Stars’

Sun Mar 20 2011 by Idolator Staff
Nicole Scherzinger has made it clear: when she grows up, she wants to be famous. Alone. Without a bunch of other Pussycat Dolls hogging her limelight. But that didn’t stop her from singing one of the defunct girl group’s hits on the French version of Dancing With The Stars yesterday — ooh la la! — along with “Don’t Hold Your Breath,” a tune from her long-awaited solo debut Killer Love. Of course the "Poison" singer is no stranger to cutting a rug with the stellar, as she won the U.S. version of the show last year. And this is not the first time she’s performed her new single overseas either. Is this pussycat better off without her posse? Watch the performance after the jump. More »

Listen To Some Version Or Other Of Nicole Scherzinger’s “Don’t Hold Your Breath”

Thu Jan 13 2011 by Robbie Daw
PopJustice has attempted to sift through the various versions of FHM fox Nicole Scherzinger's next (UK) single "Don't Hold Your Breath." The main ones been floating around: the original Timbaland/Keri Hilson demo; the other demo, sans Nicole's vocals; the one that popped up today that PJ says still isn't the final version. At any rate, below we posted a form of the song slightly longer that last one mentioned, because, to quote PopJustice, "Don't Hold Your Breath" is "basically amazing." More »

Nicole Scherzinger Gives ‘The X Factor’ A Dose Of “Poison”

Mon Nov 29 2010 by Robbie Daw
Nicole Scherzinger returned to The X Factor last night to perform her new RedOne-produced solo single "Poison." (Earlier this year the Pussycat Dolls front diva filled in for an ailing Cheryl Cole on the judges panel.) It was the singer's first performance of the jam, and judging by the its current standing on UK iTunes—it's at #2—viewers approved. We're not so sure about the sketchy dominatrix motif, but overall it was a job well done. More »

Nicole Scherzinger Is A Butt-Kicking Comic Book Diva In Her “Poison” Video

Fri Oct 29 2010 by Robbie Daw
We admit that we were a bit unsure about Nicole Scherzinger's new RedOne-produced single "Poison" when it first surfaced. But now that it's been fitted with a somewhat stylish Joseph Kahn video, it's all sort of starting to fall into place. Granted, the clip—which finds Nicole taking on the role of an undercover super vixen—is highly campy. But would we really want it any other way? Watch below. More »

Popping Up: Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.

Mon Oct 18 2010 by Robbie Daw
Popping Up is our recurring look at new artists making noise on the music landscape. Because, hey—Madonna and Britney were once unknown, too.

For the latest feature in our Popping Up series, we shift our eager ears to Detroit—birthplace of Motown, stomping ground of Eminem and the city where duo Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. (aka Josh Epstein and Daniel Zott) are based. Using hip hop beats, folky guitar licks and quirky, catchy hooks, these two gents first served up their Horse Power EP in July, and now have a four-track follow-up, My Love Is Easy: Remixes Pt. 1, slated for a November 2nd release. (And did we mention they covered our all-time favorite Beach Boys song, "God Only Knows"?)

Josh, who's also the frontman of pop-rock collective The Silent Years, summed up Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.'s sound for us as "pop music, made in a basement without corporate aspirations." Lucky New Yorkers can catch the pair doing a string of shows this week as part of the CMJ Music Marathon. And you can learn more about the double Juniors below! More »
