Demi Lovato Does Some Holiday Shopping (PHOTOS)

Wed Dec 14 2011 by Erika Brooks Adickman

Was Jingle Ball rocker Demi Lovato continuing to get into the holiday spirit by partaking in some last minute Christmas shopping yesterday? The Unbroken singer hit up Los Angeles’ Westside Pavilion with a gal pal — and judging by the Betsey Johnson and 7 For All Man Kind bags, it seems she did well. The fashionable pop star showed off her newly red locks with a Debbie Gibson-inspired hat, lace-up boots, a leather pleated skirt, tons of gold jewelry and a floral blazer. Are you loving Demi’s mix-and-clash look or is it too much for an afternoon at the mall? More »

Best Songs Of 2011: The Top 10 Pop Non-Singles Of The Year

Wed Dec 14 2011 by Robbie Daw
Sure, there have been a boatload of decent singles that made an impact both on the charts and in pop culture in 2011. But there were also plenty of outstanding tracks tucked away on your favorite pop artists' albums that never got their day in the sun. Sometimes it may seem like a no-brainer when choosing which track from an LP deserves an official single release — and sometimes artists and labels get it way wrong and overlook some of their best material.

We've rounded up what we consider to be 10 such tunes below. Our selection process was simple: they were all from albums that were released in 2011 or, at the very least, the tail-end of 2010, and they all had ample opportunity to be up for single consideration this year. Alas, these diamonds were left untouched by radio (this year, at least). More »

James Morrison: 8 Questions With The “Up” Singer

Fri Dec 9 2011 by Robbie Daw
Following the release of his third album The Awakening, and ahead of his spring tour here in the States, British singer-songwriter James Morrison is feeling quite feisty. Regarding his collaboration with Jessie J, the emotional, string-laden "Up", Morrison tells us this: "I asked if she wanted to do it with me. But she said, 'I’ll only record a song with you'."

The past few years have seen professional and personal highs for the soulful 27-year-old artist, as well as some lows. Around the time he was writing material for his third LP, James' father passed away. "It was very hard to get through most writing days without shedding a tear," he says.

Still, he persevered, and the result was his second chart-topping album in the UK, The Awakening, which has sold over half-a-million copies worldwide since its release in September. Head below for our chat with the award-winning Brit! More »

Turns out he's just some heist-pulling Joe with a briefcase full of cash. Gabourey decks him in the face as the two tear off into the Hollywood Hills, with FTP members Mark Pontius and Cubbie Fink, here playing cops, hot on their trail. More »
