Ciara might not be on the cover of next month’s ESSENCE magazine (that spot was reserved for the legendary Janet Jackson), but that doesn’t mean she didn’t get plenty of attention inside the August issue. The Basic Instinct singer was photographed by Antoine Verglas for the mag’s “Out Of The Blue” photo spread. The title conveys an intended focus on Ciara’s fashion forward way with denim, including a floor length denim jean gown. The songstress, who's music video for "Ride" proved to be too hot for BET, kept things simple for the cover art.
