So sayeth The Guardian, in an editorial where writer Louis Pattison seems to be rather confused about the realities of how MP3 blogs actually work these days. But apparently, “there’s collateral damage” if you download free music, and “if you’re a fan of independent music, it could be everything you hold dear”!

Thu Apr 12 2007 by Brian Raftery

Last year, we launched our way-too-sporadic AnonIMous Interview Series, in which we anonymously grill seasoned music-biz veterans. We’d like to do this more often, mostly because we love the picture of the cats whispering secrets–possibly mouse-related secrets–to one another; if you have some compelling dirt to share, drop us a line at tips@idolator.com.
