When Britney Spears Met Jo Calderone (PHOTOS)

Mon Aug 29 2011 by Erika Brooks Adickman

We thought nothing could ever come close to the 2003 VMA kiss between Britney Spears and Madonna — we were wrong. Last night a “good old fashioned American man and a good old fashioned American girl” took to the stage at the 28th annual Video Music Awards, as Jo Calderone (Lady Gaga’s male alter ego/Ralph Macchio lookalike) presented the Femme Fatale with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award with a big ol’ smooch on the cheek. The two locked eyes and for a moment it looked like some sparks were flying. Brit came to her senses, reminding everyone, “I’ve already done that.” Which peck will go down in MTV history as a more memorable “lip lock”? More »

Taylor Swift Covers Gwen Stefani And The Beach Boys In L.A.

Thu Aug 25 2011 by Erika Brooks Adickman
We were so caught up in the excitement of Taylor Swift's surprise duet with Justin Bieber on Tuesday night at L.A.'s Staples Center, we nearly forgot to mention the pop starlet's on-going geographical portion of her concert. For the possible Joe Jonas collaborator's ode Los Angeles, T-Swift picked two very different musical representations of Southern California (neither song matching our prediction). Below watch the "Sparks Fly" songbird as she covers native Gwen Stefani's "The Sweet Escape" and The Beach Boys' "God Only Knows". More »

Enrique Iglesias Gets ‘Today Show’ Host Savannah Guthrie All Hot And Bothered

Fri Aug 19 2011 by Robbie Daw
The Today Show's Savannah Guthrie apparently didn't know what she was getting herself in for when she set foot on the morning program's Summer Concert Series stage to interview pop heartthrob Enrique Iglesias. While attempting to ask him what was up with his racy lyrics, the fairly new host got a bit nervous when Enrique suggested she's likely heard far worse. It was just one of few cute/awkward moments between the two during their short one-on-one, during which Iglesias kissed her and she eventually blurted out, "I think we're having a moment here!" Watch the sparks fly below. More »

Jessica Sutta Finds Love In The Underground In Her “Show Me” Video

Tue Aug 16 2011 by Robbie Daw
For her "Show Me" music video, Jessica takes things to (where else?) the club. (In fact, it's an underground setting that's not unlike the one in Britney Spears' "Till The World Ends" vid.) The ex-Pussycat Dolls member and her crew crank the floor-shaking energy up so high that the power goes out. Thankfully there's a flashlight-wielding hottie she conveniently bumps into before the clip is over, and the two of them proceed to bump and grind in dance-pop bliss. The sparks fly below. More »

Much like she did with her "Fearless" clip, Taylor Swift is re-packaging footage from her live shows as new music videos. (How economical!) And even if you're not a fan of Taylor's tunes, you have to admit this concert experience — complete with aerialists, fireworks and a ton of glittery costume changes — looks like a whole lot of fun. Confirmed: Jennifer Lopez Returning To ‘American Idol’ Next Season

Wed Aug 10 2011 by Robbie Daw
Just a day after glam new promo pics of the forthcoming American X Factor crew arrived, American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe called in to Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM show and dropped this bit of eclipsing info: “I am delighted to say that all three judges, along with the brilliant host of American Idol is back for the next season." That's good news for fans of the "On The Floor" diva, though the New York Post reports that J.Lo's rumored $20 million payday is causing friction with fellow judges Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson. Sorry, boys — divorce isn't cheap!
