Being that Rihanna's "We Found Love" has enough beats and synths to be its own remix, not to mention it couldn't possibly be even more popular on the Hot 100 (the song has been #1 for nine non-consecutive weeks), we find it pointless to release a new version of the single with Flo Rida. And yet, here we are. The original should still do you just fine, but if you can't bear to listen to a pop song nowadays without a rap added onto it somewhere (thanks, Katy), head below. More »

Good news, Kelly Rowland fans! The Marie Claire UK cover girl has confirmed that she's working with the hit-making producer behind Rihanna's "We Found Love," Calvin Harris. In a new feature in the London Evening Standard, the "Motivation" songbird spoke about judging the across-the-pond X Factor and her acclimation to the London lifestyle, which apparently included hooking up with some of the UK's hottest producers. Throughout 2011, a total of 14 singles topped Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Grammy-nominated UK songbird Adele was the artist who spent the most weeks at #1 this year, with her first two 21 singles. Rihanna had the song that was perched in the chart throne the longest. Katy Perry had the most #1s, while Christina Aguilera returned to the top after a 10-year absence. Also, Wiz Khalifa, Pitbull, LMFAO and Calvin Harris all took trips to the peak position on the Hot 100 for the first time.

Coldplay Top Album Chart, Rihanna Racks Up 11th #1 On Hot 100

Adele's non-consecutive streak at #1 with 21 on Billboard's Top 200 is interrupted once more, as Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto easily enters the chart at the peak position. The UK band's fifth studio album, which lands at #1 based on the strength of 447,000 copies sold in its first week, is now their third in a row to reach the summit of the Top 200. Meanwhile, over on the Hot 100 singles chart, Rihanna and Calvin Harris' "We Found Love" bumps Adele's "Someone Like You" off the top.

With Coldplay's Rihanna collaboration "Princess Of China" proving to be the surprise hit off the just-released Mylo Xyloto — it's currently #4 on iTunes, despite the song not even being an official single — the UK band, who are expected to have the #1 album next week, paid tribute to the Barbadian singer, who has the #2 single this week, by covering "We Found Love" for BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge series. Is Rihanna's "We Found Love" video a yellow diamond in the light? The visual, which supports her Calvin Harris-produced first offering from upcoming album Talk That Talk (out November 21), certainly has tongues wagging over the copious amount of drugs inhaled by the singer and her young Irish boyfriend in the vid (played by model/boxer Dudley O’Shaughnessy), who has more than a slight resemblance to RiRi's ex Chris Brown. Turns out pairing up with Scottish DJ/producer/pop star Calvin Harris for lead Talk That Talk single “We Found Love” was a stroke of genius for Rihanna, because she's now set a chart record in Calvin's homeland. "We Found Love" topped the official UK single chart this week, marking Vogue bombshell RiRi's sixth #1 hit in the country in five years — a feat the Official Charts Company notes is "unequaled by any other female solo artist."
