Kelly Rowland's summer jam "Motivation" is up for a Best Rap/Sung Collaboration Grammy, and the sultry singer hit up Chelsea Lately last night to talk, among other things, about how she came to work with Lil Wayne on the track. "Sometimes, I don't know if you guys know, but artists will be really, a little bit, difficult when it comes to getting on songs," Rowland said. "And he just did it." It's been a minute since Chelsea Handler had a musician on her E! show Chelsea Lately (and isn't it about time they built a set for artists to perform on?). But clearly her "ex-boyfriend" T.I. will always be an exception. The "I'm Flexin'" MC was there to promote his new book Power & Beauty, though Handler got him to discuss an alleged hook-up with his wife while in prison, and how he talked a man attempting suicide down from the top of a building. On last night's Chelsea Lately episode taped in Sydney, host Chelsea Handler gave her guest, the evolutionary Rihanna, a loving pat on the backside and then proceeded to tell the story of how Ri Ri personally invited her to her birthday party, but the two never met. Last night Diddy-Dirty Money hit up Chelsea Lately, and things immediately started off on a classy note when it appeared as if Diddy was, shall we say, in "up" spirits and Dawn Richard tried to entice the nighttime host with the prospect of a four-way. Chelsea, girl, Nicki Minaj is one badass Barbie you probably don't want to mess with. Handler had the Pink Friday rapstress on her talk show last night, and usually the blonde-haired hostess is a big hit with the MCs. But maybe asking "What's up with your ass?" right off the bat wasn't exactly the sweetest way to start things off with Minaj? You could definitely cut the tension between these two during the rest of the interview with a Jimmy Choo heel—of course, we're just glad said heel didn't end up in Chelsea's head.
