The summer is officially over, but that didn't stop Colbie Caillat from bringing a little California sun to Live! With Regis And Kelly this morning via a performance of her All Of You single "Brighter Than The Sun." Back in June Colbie spoke to us about the song and noted that "‘Brighter Than the Sun’ has a punch. It’s so up-tempo and happy." Do you agree? Regis sure seemed to. Majors & Minors might be the 50 billionth televised reality singing competition to emerge in the past few years, but it's already attempting to one-up all of its predecessors with an endless stream of big-name guests. Adam Lambert, Avril Lavigne and Colbie Callait have joined the ever-growing list of mentors on the kid-friendly show, which already includes the likes of Leona Lewis, Jordin Sparks, Sean Kingston and Ryan Tedder. We are heartbroken at the news that Amy Winehouse was found dead in her home earlier today. Not surprisingly, many of her fellow musicians are, too. Hordes of artists took to Twitter to celebrate the talented but troubled performer, who, as Lance Bass, Big Boi, and others pointed out in their tweets, died at the same fatal age as Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and Jim Morrison. As we gathered from the stills and teaser clip of Colbie Caillat's upcoming "Brighter Than The Sun" video, the singer-songwriter has quite a romp in the foliage in the bright, festive clip. "This [treatment] by [director] Emil Nava I loved the most because he brought the outdoors inside," Colbie explains in a behind-the-scenes vid. "He made a grass bed and they have lawn through the living room." Watch scenes from Caillat's green video spring to life below.

Just in time for summer, Grammy winner Colbie Caillat has served up an upbeat, infectious new single "Brighter Than The Sun" and equally bright new music video to accompany it. The song, which the extremely beautiful California girl co-wrote with "Rocketeer" hit-maker/OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, is the second single from Caillat's upcoming third LP All Of You (preview it on Facebook), which is due out July 12 from Universal Republic.
