Flo Rida‘s thinly-veiled sexual euphimism, “Whistle”, gets exactly the type of video you’d expect: shot in sunny Acalpulco, the Marc Klasfeld-directed vid features boobs, babes, bikinis, and little else. The clip also acts as a video pamphlet for any millionaires out there looking to find the next location for their luxury vacation. Flo Rida and his booty-shakin’ ladies not included, but with an unbelievable setting like this, you can do more than just whistle the night away.

Last night American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez performed her new Step Up Revolution soundtrack jam “Goin’ In” live on the AI finale, and now Ryan Seacrest has premiered the recorded version of the tune. “Goin’ In” is certainly the hardest club track we’ve heard from the J.Lo canon in recent years. And while she’s been hit (“On The Floor”, “Dance Again”) and miss (“I’m Into You”, “Papi”) lately, we’ll go out on a limb and predict that radio will welcome this thumper with open arms.

Flo Rida is aiming for a third hit off upcoming LP Wild Ones (out July 3) with none-too-subtle new single “Whistle”. And he’s hoping the puckered-lip hook of the song, and its sexy video, will seal the deal. A short tease of the visual (which premieres in full this Thursday, May 24) shows a shirtless Rida standing on jagged rocks by the ocean and partying with a pack of gyrating babes in Acapulco. In other words, don’t expect Citizen Kane — just a booty-shakin’ good time.

Team Blake notched its first victory on NBC’s The Voice Tuesday night (May 8), as Jermaine Paul was crowned the Season 2 winner. The soulful former backup singer for Alicia Keys netted himself a deal with Universal Records after locking in just 4% more votes than runner-up Juliet Simms.

“I just wanted to say thank you for everyone that voted for me,” the emotional Jermaine told the crowd. “God bless y’all, man. Nobody but Jesus, man, nobody!” Then the producers, for some reason, put a mike in his hands and made him sing through his tears and joy, holding tight to his wife, and revisit his competition-winning final performance of R. Kelly‘s “I Believe I Can Fly”.

The two-hour final episode was jam-packed with performances by top artists, the final four contestants and a few of their favorite castmates. Watch below.

Hit-making MC Flo Rida, the man behind such timeless treasures as “Low”, “Club Can’t Handle Me” and “Good Feeling”, has finally revealed the name and release date of his upcoming fourth album. (We know you were absolutely chomping for it, pop pickers!) The LP, called Wild Ones — which also happens to be the name of his most recent Top 10 single — is due out July 3, so get those fireworks out a day early.

“With this album, there’s gonna be a lot of No. 1s, so that’s why I came up with the title Wild Ones,” the confident rapper told Billboard. Incidentally, Flo Rida’s last chart-topping single, “Right Round”, arrived over three years ago and featured a then-unknown Ke$ha.

Before the announcement of the title Wild Ones, Only One Rida (Part 2) was circling the Internet as the upcoming LP’s possible name.

While the world seethes and whips itself into a maniacal frenzy in anticipation of Flo Rida‘s upcoming LP Only One Rida (Part 2), the rapper has gifted the masses with another tease of his sure-to-be aural masterpiece in the form of new song “Whistle”. Poor Flo — someone should have told him that whistling for a hit is so Summer 2011. Not that it matters, really, because with lyrics as classy as “girl, I’m gonna show you how to do it and we’ll start real slow, you just put your lips together and you come real close” how can it miss? Thar she blows, down below!

Produced by DJ Frank E, the mastermind behind Enrique Iglesias‘ equally tender “Tonight (I’m Fuckin’ You)”, “Whistle” received its first radio play Down Under (this is really writing itself) yesterday.

Pretty daring, though, of Flo — after scoring hits with the Etta James-sampling “Good Feeling” and Sia-featuring “Wild Ones”, the rapper is going it alone this time. Does he have what it takes to deliver the goods on his own?

When Ellen DeGeneres announced that she was sending Sophia Grace and Rosie, her pint-sized regulars from across the pond, to the 2012 Grammy Awards, we knew we were going to get some pure gold. Turns out, we also got bubbles! “We’re having a bubble party with Lady Antebellum!” screamed 8-year-old Sophia Grace, blowing bubbles with the country trio on the red carpet (and thus providing us our favorite new phrase of all time). As Flo Rida’s “Good Feeling” continues to crawl up the Hot 100 (it’s currently at its peak position at #3), the MC is having some majorly good feelings in his fun-loving new video for “Wild Ones”. In the vid, the Miami native travels around the world to Dubai, and keeps busy with a full schedule of wild activities: sky-diving (yep, that really is Flo falling out of a plane), air-boating, and partying the night away. Sia, who is featured on the track, unfortunately sits this one out. What, could Flo not afford one more plane ticket to UAE? We wanna see Sia skydive, too!

With chugging keyboards and an irresistible, longing hook from Sia, “Wild Ones” already felt like a dance-floor smash. What good timing for The Throne to drop their visually bonkers live concert video for “Ni**as In Paris” today, as Kanye West and Jay-Z have been nominated for a Performing Woodie at the 2012 mtvU Woodie Awards. Elsewhere on the nominees list is Chris Brown and Rihanna, who compete against one another for the EDM Effect Woodie for their electro collaborations with Benny Benasi on “Beautiful People” and Calvin Harris on “We Found Love”, respectively. The club can’t handle Flo Rida, but Ellen DeGeneres’ soundstage certainly can. The rapper stopped by the morning show to perform his Top 10 hit  “Good Feeling”, which takes its hook from Avicii’s “Levels”, which in turn samples the late Etta James’ 1962 song “Something’s Got a Hold On Me”. “I’m deeply saddened by the passing of the Great Etta James and I will be forever grateful for the gift she blessed me with,” tweeted the rapper after hearing of James’ death. Etta James’ death at the age of 73 has left many musicians and performers, regardless of musical genre, in grief. Several artists — from the likes of Flo Rida and Kelly Rowland to Pink — took to Twitter to express their love for the “At Last” singer, and share how she influenced their lives and careers. Being that Rihanna’s “We Found Love” has enough beats and synths to be its own remix, not to mention it couldn’t possibly be even more popular on the Hot 100 (the song has been #1 for nine non-consecutive weeks), we find it pointless to release a new version of the single with Flo Rida. We’re thrilled that Sia has had a change of heart from when she previously said she was thinking about giving up music to become “a dog masseuse”, as the Aussie singer-songwriter has been popping up all over the place. After working with Christina Aguilera (on Bionic and Burlesque, as well as on Xtina’s upcoming LP and on The Voice), she appeared on David Guetta’s “Titanium”, and can be currently heard bubbling all over Flo Rida’s new club banger “Wild Ones”. Outside of this new tune, Flo Rida has been a little too much of a wild one — he just copped a plea deal for his June arrest in Miami. The rapper, whose real name is Tramar Dillard, will be perform community service and take a DUI class to avoid jail time.

We get the party jumping this week with help from “Right Round” rapper Flo Rida. Below watch as we pay homage to a dance party favorite — that is, if you think you can handle it!

We can thank today’s requester @dstern127 for getting this Monday jumpin’ with Flo Rida’s 2010 track “Club Can’t Handle Me” featuring Nothing But The Beat DJ, David Guetta. The music video for Nine Least Appropriate Kidz Bop Songs list-maker was shot in Los Angeles and directed by Marc Klasfeld who’s also given us Far East Movement’s “Rocketeer”, Greyson Chance’s “Unfriend You” and Katy Perry’s grin-inducing romp “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)”. The song may have never seen the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts (only rising to #9), but there’s no denying it will be a dance floor-filler for years to come.

After bringing out Nelly, B.o.B, Nicki Minaj and T.I., unexpected rap fan  Taylor Swift brought out yet another rapper for an energetic duet on her Speak Now tour. Flo Rida joined the country star on stage in Miami to perform “Right Round”, with Taylor taking on Ke$ha’s part on the hook. Watch their righteous live performance below as we imagine an alternate world where Taylor Swift and Ke$ha have switched places, with Ke$ha singing squeaky clean songs about mean people while Taylor chugs back Jack Daniels and hunts down unicorns for sport.

Taio Cruz’s video for “Hangover” plays out somewhat like Katy Perry’s all-star summer visual for her record-setting single “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” — we get to see the before and after of wild rager, ensuing headaches and all. Only we’re pretty sure Katy’s clip didn’t include a passed out woman in a baby crib, or some dude stripping out of a bear costume and bumping and grinding, half-naked, at the crack of dawn. Taio, who’s decked out in shades and a leather jacket, proceeds to get “mashed” and “shit-faced-ed” (you’re welcome, Merriam-Webster) in the “Hangover” vid while pretty women cavort all around him and pour vodka down the throat of his assistant. Yes, we said vodka — because how could you miss that 4 product placement?

The party then moves to Flo Rida’s private jet for the duration of the “Where Them Girls At” rapper’s featured rhymes. Finally, things end the way all parties usually wrap up — with the gang piling into a boat and steering it down Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. Ahoy!

In the morning, Taio wakes up to find the boat on the balcony of his mansion, and his underwear-clad assistant begging to keep his job.

We finally get to see the cause for Taio Cruz’s alcohol-induced “Hangover”, thanks to a sneak peek at the song’s music video. As you might imagine, given lines like “I can go until I blow up and I can drink until I throw up,” there’s a wild party involved. “Hangover”, which also features hit-making rapper Flo Rida, serves as the lead single from Cruz’s upcoming album TY.O, and once again, the UK singer-songwriter has teamed up with pop maestro Dr. Luke. (Previously they paired up on the 2010 summer smash “Dynamite”, which helped Luke to win an ASCAP Songwriter Of The Year award.)

Taio Cruz feat. Flo Rida - Hangover

This tune was clearly fated to take over dancefloors everywhere, and it’s already got us hooked. Still, it’s fun to imagine Taio Cruz attempting to record this song while nursing an actual hangover. There’d probably be a lot more moaning in pain.
