Today an item about Axl Rose
helping out a neighbor whose house was in danger of being destroyed by the California wildfires while working on saving his
own house is making its way around the Internet, complete with articles headlined "AXL ROSE IS A HERO" and Axl's unidentified neighbor saying that she feels "blessed" to live next to the reclusive Guns N' Roses frontman. But what I don't understand is why this story is firing up the hardrockosphere
now, given that the
story being referenced originally ran all the way back in November. Could this be some weird pre-pre-push for
Chinese Democracy that's centered around the idea that Axl is a good guy who will do wonderful things with the money that fans should lay out for his long-delayed album, or did some hapless reporter expereince an RSS hiccup that's reverberated around the world? Clip of the original Fox report after the jump.
