After getting fired (or voluntarily leaving, depending on what Rashomon-like point of view you're looking from) from American Idol, the unemployed former reality singing competition show judge Kara DioGuardi has finally nabbed herself a new gig — as a reality singing competition show judge. Kara will judge the new Bravo show Going Platinum, which sounds like it has something to do with cosmetology but is actually a competition for singer-songwriters. Singer-songwriter-karaoke enthusiast Jewel will host, though we're not sure why she doesn't judge as well since she did so well on the panel of Nashville Star. [Vulture]

Journey To Regionals, the soundtrack to Glee's final episode of Season 1, proved to be a vampire slayer when it came to beating the Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack to #1 on the Billboard Top 200. The trade publication reports today that the Glee EP ended up selling 152,000 copies—enough to send Jack Johnson from the top to #4 and hold Eclipse (144,000 copies) at #2.
