Slimmed-down diva Mariah Carey and John Legend finally got around to making a video for "When Christmas Comes", a festive, old-school soul track from Mariah's Merry Christmas II You offering from last year. In the clip, Mimi and family — that would be husband Nick Cannon and twins Monroe and Moroccan — invite friends and family over to their L.A. home for a warm holiday celebration. After appearing with Justin Bieber in the video for her Bieber-tweaked classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You”, Mimi will release a set of visuals for “When Christmas Comes”,off her 2010 album Merry Christmas II You. Reports say U.S. forces shot and killed Osama Bin Laden, the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, on Monday in Abbottland, Pakistan. (CNN notes that DNA matching is under way on samples from the body.) "A small team of Americans carried out the operation with extraordinary courage and capability," President Obama said while addressing the nation last night. "After a firefight, they killed Osama bin Laden and took custody of his body."

Naturally there are many questions, there's much celebration and a certain amount of symbolism, given that we're just four months shy of the tenth anniversary of the crippling attacks on American soil. The UK singer's million-selling sophomore LP  21 is currently #1 for a fourth non-consecutive week, so naturally tunes off the record are making quite an impact on pop culture at large.
