JoJo Performs “Disaster” And Rihanna’s “What’s My Name” For Utah’s Mix 107.9

We imagine it's rather chilly in Utah these January days, but luckily those visiting the Jordan Commons yesterday had a chance to warm up with one of the hottest pop stars out there — JoJo. The festive songbird treated her audience to the Jumping Trains single "Disaster" and then covered Rihanna's "What's My Name" (though Drake unfortunately did not appear to chime in on his half of the tune). While this is not the first time JoJo has put her stamp of approval on Ri Ri's Grammy-nominated Loud single, we'd like to reassure JoJo that she doesn't need to worry about us forgetting her name any time soon. JoJo Roasts Her Chestnuts On “The Christmas Song”

The always-delightful JoJo turns 21 today, and she's celebrating the holidays in addition to her birthday. The "Disaster" singer recorded her take on Xmas classic "The Christmas Song" (which was recently covered by Justin Bieber and Usher), and we're just mad we didn't get this musical gift sooner, or we would have definitely put it up for contention in our 2011 Christmas Song poll. Christmas cookie decorator Avril Lavigne, Neon Hitch (who will be performing alongside Travie McCoy on Late Night tonight) and JoJo took the stage at the Wells Fargo Center, as well as Demi Lovato, who couldn’t help but gush over fellow performer Kelly Clarkson. The “Skyscraper” singer geeked out during Kelly’s set, tweeting not only the lyrics to “Mr. Know It All” but also “MY LIFE WOULD SUCK WITHOUT YOU!!!!!!! #fangirling”. On Wednesday night Drake, Maroon 5, JoJo and Gym Class Heroes’ Travie McCoy came out to support the launch of Google Music, as the Internet behemoth branches out into online music store sector. The soiree took place in Los Angeles at Mr. Brainwash Studios (of Oscar-nominated documentary Exit Through The Gift Shop fame). The Take Care rapper performed hits from his newly released LP for the VIP crowd which included Miley Cyrus, Busta Rhymes and, more notably, Drizzy’s rumored significant other Serena Williams.
