Ke$ha’s “Get Sleazy 2.0″ Remix Gets An Appropriately Sleazy Video

The roles of Ke$ha, Wiz Khalifa, Andre 3000, T.I. and Lil Wayne in the video for "Get Sleazy 2.0 (Get Sleazier)" will be played by a large black man with a mohawk, a Pabst Blue Ribbon-guzzling drag queen, a folksy townie, a foul-mouthed old man, and a bat-wielding teen hoodlum, respectively. "This video is the product of my friends seeing how sleazy the already monumentally Sleazy Remix 2.0 could get," writes K-Dolla. "Brace yourself because this video takes SLEAZY to a whole new level." Yeah, she's not kidding. We're just surprised nobody put their beard in anyone's mouth.

Whatever is going on between Ke$ha and the Flaming Lips, it certainly promises to be... interesting. An album by the psychedelic rockers seem a perfect outlet for the facial hair-feasting Cannibal to channel her more, um, "experimental" side into before delivering her sophomore LP, but what the hell is going on over there?!? The band's Wayne Coyne tweeted photos and videos depicting him sticking his finger into K-Dollah's gold glitter (not a euphemism), a suspicious white substance (which she claims is ground-up Tums), and Ke$ha "singing about taking acid as the world ends" (jeez, whatever happened to just dancing?). Michael Buble's Christmas album has quickly become one of the year's best sellers, and, well, Saturday Night Live wasn't about to let this past weekend's musical guest get away without a parody. Actually, it was pretty much every other popular singer at the moment who got the stuffing taken out them in the hilarious mock ad for Buble's faux holiday duets collection. Jimmy Fallon spoofed Sting perfectly, donned a swooping wig and danced around like a hyperactive Justin Bieber and did a dead-on impression of Katy Perry's husband Russell Brand in the clip.

Sure, there have been a boatload of decent singles that made an impact both on the charts and in pop culture in 2011. But there were also plenty of outstanding tracks tucked away on your favorite pop artists' albums that never got their day in the sun. Sometimes it may seem like a no-brainer when choosing which track from an LP deserves an official single release — and sometimes artists and labels get it way wrong and overlook some of their best material.
We've rounded up what we consider to be 10 such tunes below. Our selection process was simple: they were all from albums that were released in 2011 or, at the very least, the tail-end of 2010, and they all had ample opportunity to be up for single consideration this year.
