Trey Songz and Kelly Rowland were all smooches and cuddles in the teaser for Trey’s single “Heart Attack”, a honeymoon period we knew couldn’t last. (The song is called “Heart Attack”, after all.) In the full-length clip, on-screen couple Kelly and Trey are far from the happy, in love couple they once were, though their fighting might not be the real thing that keeps them apart. The most tragic thing about this clip? Kelly doesn’t sing a lick. Rowland might be “Down For Whatever”, but when she appears in a music video, we want her to be more than arm candy.

We are pretty sure Trey Songz and Kelly Rowland are not a real life couple, but after all the serious canoodling happening in their “Heart Attack” teaser, we wouldn’t be surprised if they decided to hook up. In the vid’s one-minute preview, the two R&B singers look head over heels in love with one another as they take cell phone pics, twirl around, and engage in PDA that probably made the camera guy feel like a third wheel. Considering the fact that this song is called “Heart Attack”, we won’t be surprised if it’s all downhill from here.

“Heart Attack” comes off Songz’ upcoming album, Chapter V, which is expected to drop this summer.

Kelly Rowland not only appears in the upcoming film Think Like A Man, but she contributes a song to the film’s soundtrack. (Good thinking, movie producers!) The singer offers up the seductive jam “Need A Reason”, which joins Jennifer Hudson’s “Think Like A Man” and John Legend and Ludacris’ “Tonight (Best You Ever Had)” on the anticipated R&B-heavy soundtrack, which can be currently be streamed in full over at Essence.com. We know you don’t need a reason to listen to Kelly’s new song below, but we’ll give one to you anyway: it’s hot.

Last night, the 84th Academy Awards honored the best in film, but it’s often the worst movies that we find the most entertaining. And our favorite type of terrible movie? Pretty much any flick a pop star graces with their presence. Sure, there are exceptions — like Justin Timberlake shining in 2010′s The Social Network, or Cher winning an Oscar for her work in 1987′s Moonstruck — but even if we love the performer, we don’t always love the films they star in. We’ve picked the Top 13 bad movies featuring fourteen pop stars who really should have been picker when choosing projects. (And to prove just how awful these movies are, we’ve arranged them by their Rotten Tomatoes score.)

Well, if you’re going to appear in a bad movie, you might as well make it a horror film, particularly one that combines two classic franchises together.

JT is so charming, he can walk away from this Mike Myers dreck and still remain loveable.

Taylor Swift in Valentine’s Day, 2010. Rotten Tomatoes: 18%
The only evidence we need that Swift should have never been in contention for the role of Eponine in Les Miserables.

Snoop Dogg in Soul Plane, 2004. Rotten Tomatoes: 18%
We can’t really blame Snoop for this unfunny comedy, since he think he was basically typecast to play himself.

Britney Spears in Crossroads, 2002. Rotten Tomatoes: 14%
She’s not a girl, not yet a woman, and definitely not an actress.

Kelly Clarkson in From Justin to Kelly, 2003. Rotten Tomatoes: 8%
At least Kelly had the good sense to never try this again. (And to her credit, she never wanted to – it was in her contract with Idol that she star a film.)

Mariah Carey in Glitter, 2001. Rotten Tomatoes: 7%
Mariah’s subtle, understated performance in Precious absolves all (well, most) of her sins from this amazingly awful film.

Jennifer Lopez in Gigli, 2003. Rotten Tomatoes Score: 7%.
Gigli, unsurprisingly, is her lowest-scoring film, though it had serious competition from the other movies in J.Lo’s canon: The Back-Up Plan (19%), Maid In Manhattan (39%), Angel Eyes (33%), Enough (22%), The Wedding Planner (17%), Jack (17%) and Monster In Law (16%).

Madonna in Swept Away, 2002. Rotten Tomatoes: 5%
Well, this could have been good, theoretically. The film is a remake from the well-reviewed 1974 version of the same name, directed by Italian filmmaker Lina Wertmüller (who, by the way, would become the first woman nominated for a Best Director Oscar). But proving that a couple should never work together, Madge paired up with her then-hubby Guy Ritchie for this mind-numbingly dumb modern take on a story featuring Madonna playing an arrogant, spoiled rich woman who soon turns obediently subservient to a man. Who wants to see Madonna play either of those things for 90 minutes?

Kelly Rowland floored us once again with another fantastic dress as she stepped out for the Essence 5th Annual Black Women In Hollywood event. While the singer donned a gold shift frock, fellow attendee Jordin Sparks sported a fantastic black shimmering wrap dress. Kelly Rowland took the stage at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas last night and belted out a soaring rendition of “The Greatest Love Of All” during Muhammad Ali’s 70th birthday celebration. Most people know the song as a Whitney Houston classic, but it was originally recorded by Grammy winner George Benson for the 1977 Ali biopic The Greatest. Naturally, the poignant timing of Rowland’s performance resonated for both those attending the boxing legend’s festivities and fans of Houston, who was laid to rest yesterday in her home state of New Jersey. Etta James’ death at the age of 73 has left many musicians and performers, regardless of musical genre, in grief. The BET Honors were held last night, and as expected, it was an R&B star-studded affair. Good news, Kelly Rowland fans! The Marie Claire UK cover girl has confirmed that she’s working with the hit-making producer behind Rihanna’s “We Found Love,” Calvin Harris. In a new feature in the London Evening Standard, the “Motivation” songbird spoke about judging the across-the-pond X Factor and her acclimation to the London lifestyle, which apparently included hooking up with some of the UK’s hottest producers. Miss Kelendria also opened up on her thoughts about motherhood, prompted by the impending arrival of Beyonce’s baby. Read more below.

“I won’t be jealous when Beyoncé’s baby arrives. I’ll just be just happy to pick her up and put her down again,” she told the London rag. Clearly Kelly’s got too much going on to pay any attention to her biological clock — and we can’t blame her, seeing as the success of “We Found Love” has made Calvin Harris one of the most sought-after producers of the moment.
