Metallica is headlining KROQ's Weenie Roast on May 17, where they'll be joined by Cali-punk pals The Offspring, Bad Religion, Pennywise, and a bunch of bands that don't remember that Black Flag show in '82 where things got
crazy. Oh wait, Metallica weren't punk rockers! Forgot! I was already to write about how this was Lars & Co.'s most blatant alt-grab since Lollapalooza '96 until I discovered that Metallica actually headlined 1999's Weenie Roast. So I guess I'll just make fun of the fact that Metallica has only made one album of original material in the last decade, and man did it suck. Full line-up after the jump.
