The 2011 Grammy Award Winners
Mon Feb 14 2011 by Robbie Daw
By the time the 53rd Grammys wrapped up last night, Lady Antebellum rode away with five awards (including Record and Song Of The Year, and Best Country Song)—though they lost out on Album Of The Year in a surprise upset to Arcade Fire's The Suburbs. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga—who arrived at the shindig in an alien pod—clinched a Best Pop Vocal Album win for The Fame Monster, and during her speech gave thanks to Whitney Houston. "I wanted to thank Whitney, because when I wrote 'Born This Way' I imagined she was singing it..." Interesting—most other people thought she imagined Madonna. Watch Gaga's acceptance speech, and catch the list of Grammy winners, below!

La Roux Quietly Go In For The Kill In Their VEVO Go Show
Fri Jan 7 2011 by Erika Brooks Adickman
La Roux's surprise Go Show in Manhattan slipped under our radar amid the December holidays, but it's too lovely not to share. In what singer Elly Jackson describes as a "kind of classy but sleazy" rendition of their Grammy-nominated jam "In For The Kill", the band slows down the tempo and strips away the synths (also, Kanye) to create a softer, chilled-out take — a drastic shift for a band that sometimes sounds tinny or, as Jackson says, "harsh". Watch the band surprise a lucky lounge-ful of listeners below and r-e-l-a-x.
