In honor of Madonna's "highly sexed up" cover for Hard Candy, Gigwise put up a list of 50 album covers they consider the "dirtiest and sexiest" ever. Unsurprisingly, naked women outnumber naked men by a rather large margin. But with rare exception, the appearance of a naked man is used as comedy. What, no shirtless Jim Morrison? No I'm In You? 42. Morrissey, Your Arsenal

Naked men! So funny! Within this group, there are arguably three covers (Morrissey, Prince, Rolling Stones) where male nudity isn't taken as absurd, intentionally or otherwise. The same can't be said of most the boob, butt, and beaver shots that compile the rest of the list. So what would a list that didn't find chest hair inherently ridiculous include? Al Green's Greatest Hits? Raw Power? Uhh, umm... a little help?

Liars Provide Latest "They used Them?" Ad Homina-Homina

Liars is a band some find unpredictable and outrageous, while others would call them noise rock's Sha Na Na. Those who side with the latter opinion will be amused by this Timex ad, which features "Clear Island," one of the jauntier songs on their recent self-titled release. "I run, I move, I don't break stride, I control... with Timex."

Licensing songs from Psychocandy and EVOL might be more expensive than getting them from hungry young bucks like Liars, but somebody should hook an ad agency up with some old school Live Skull or Band Of Susans. Might get their albums back in print!

U2's PR people are now denying the rumor that Bono would be collaborating with the Spice Girls as the "sixth Spice." Or they might have denied it, if you can decipher the NME's street slang, because the rumors are "a load of all codswallop according to another tabloid." (I think that means "fibs.") [NME]

Fall Out Boy's guitarist is totally not embarassed about his private stash of demos being ganked through iTunes by members of Architecture In Helsinki and the Liars. It was also totally okay being pantsed in front of everybody at that pep rally in high school because those jocks are some cool bros who he has a lot of respect for. [MTV]
