Kelly Clarkson Does Not Want Lindsay Lohan’s Sloppy Seconds

snipshot_e4kj0ubevrf.jpgKelly Clarkson’s release-date woes may be over–My December, which was shelved, then set for release in late July, is now coming out next month–but she probably isn’t making many friends at her label by telling all about how those rumors started:

“Everybody always wants me to go in different directions. Obviously they’re a record label so they need to sell records.They want the formula writers and the formula producers that do everybody else’s stuff, and while I love some of those people… and I don’t mind working with that…I just don’t like working with someone that gives you a song and is like, ‘Oh, I wrote this for you.’ But you find out that they’ve given it to every other artist and they turned it down, you know?”

@Hyman Decent: I saw it. She and Reba McEntire performed "Because of You." Apparently it's on Reba's new Duets album, and it's the first single. As if I wasn't over that song from pop radio, now it's going to be on country radio nonstop. Anyway, Kelly sounded great, but Reba makes really weird facial expressions when she sings. I'd much prefer a Kelly/Patty duet.
