VH1's Hip-Hop Dating Show: You Guys Called It
To think I could have gone out with Pepa! Or was the fix in all along?
Yesterday I asked you if I should try out for VH1's new hip-hop dating show, and a whopping 89.6% of you voted "yes." So this morning I mailed off my application e-mail—with "recent photo"—to (what I'm assuming are the) good people at VH1 (and not spam harvesters dangling the promise of dinner at Olive Garden with Tigra and Bunny over my head):

This is a very simple question. And yet it is far more important than even the price you would pay for a new Radiohead album. VH1 is apparently currently casting for "fun, attractive, successful single men" to TV date (female) "hip-hop legends who will be out for a night on the town and looking for a good time." And so, whatever my other qualifications, being at least a man (or at least a manchild), I jokingly asked Maura if I should apply. To which she replied: "YES."
