Though Bloodyshy & Avant, two thirds of the indie-pop outfit Miike Snow, typically create
gleaming, radio-friendly tunes for the likes of Britney Spears, they're saving their darker melodies for their own. Their new single "Black Tin Box" starts off reserved and cold, but as it progresses, everything gets a bit warmer with the addition of some bubbly synths — as well as the group's fellow Swede Lykke Li, who shows up after the two minute mark. Join in on the Norwegian chill by listening below.

Lykke Li has been working her
Wounded Rhymes jam
"Get Some" on the TV circuit
since early March, but we're not really complaining. Following her recent bump in mainstream stateside recognition
via Glee, the
spacy Swedish singer hit up
Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and offered up a set of indie-pop tunes for the crowd gathered at Kimmel's outdoor Hollywood stage. Go ahead and get some of her performance below.

We were all set to enjoy Lykke Li's shout-out on
Glee last week during Tina's performance of
"I Follow Rivers", but alas,
hecklers pretty much sullied the whole thing. At least we have the actual Swedish singer delivering a stellar performance of her single "Get Some", once again on
yet another late night talk show. Watch Lykke on
Later with Jools Holland below.

Some artists get excited about
selling out Madison Square Garden or nervous
playing at the Superbowl. Others sing from outer space like it’s no big deal. This week the always-stellar Lykke Li visited Conan O’Brien to “Get Some” from
yet another late night host, then
uploaded a (supposedly) lunar broadcast of her “I Know Places” — demonstrating that one of the places she knows is, apparently, the moon. And while we find the latter clip's "Live on the Moon" claim a bit dubious, we do think her appearance on
Conan was pretty out of this world. Check it out below.

It seems like a waste of a set for
Lykke Li to perform on the moon in her new video for "I Know Places (Live On The Moon)" and not have something more exciting happen than shooting stars blasting off in the background. We're not asking for the quirky Swedish singer to choreograph a whole "Oops... I Did It Again" space dance routine — just something a bit more out of this world. Watch below and see if you agree with us.

While so many pop divas like to play coy with the sexy come-ons in their lyrics, others prefer to just tell it like it is (especially those from across the pond). Swedish chanteuse Lykke Li popped up on
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Thursday to perform her provocative
“Get Some,” featuring such delightfully direct lyrics as, “Like a shotgun, I can’t be outdone / I’m your prostitute, you gon’ get some.” Watch the self-professed hooker make good on that promise below.

Swedish sensation Lykke Li played to a packed crowd at New York's Le Poisson Rouge nightclub on Sunday night. The pint-sized singer performed hits from her upcoming album
Wounded Rhymes including
"Get Some" and "I Follow Rivers". Jump below to see the
"Possibility" songstress
move like a cobra writhing to the sounds of a snake charmer's horn in an all-black flowy ensemble that would make Stevie Nicks jealous.

After releasing three albums in 2010, it’s safe to say we won’t likely get much new material out of Robyn any time soon. That’s why we’re extra-enthusiastic about the return of fellow quirky Swede Lykke Li, who has been all too quiet over the past year or so. Now, at last, the enigmatic “Little Bit” and “I’m Good, I’m Gone” singer is underway on a new album,
Wounded Rhymes (her first since
Youth Novels in early 2008). Here to tantalize us is new track “I Follow Rivers”, one that suggests we have plenty to look forward to from this offbeat Swedish artist this year. Have a listen to Lykke’s new track...

The soundtrack listing for New Moon, the latest installment in the fangirl-insanity-inducing Twilight series, has been released, and as previously insinuated, it is pretty indie-tastic, with the likes of Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, Swedish enigma Lykke Li, the Jay-Z-beloved Grizzly Bear, and the one-two punch of Bon Iver and St. Vincent backing up Death Cab For Cutie’s lead single “Meet Me On The Equinox.” Muse is also contributing a remix of a song from their new album The Resistance, although Matt Bellamy sure sounds like he wanted to take the path of least, um, resistance when getting on the record: “He wants a rendition of that, but the only thing with the new film is they want the songs to be exclusive to the film. So he’s asking if I mind doing, or if we mind doing an alternative version of it.” Um, OK then! Full track listing after the jump. More »
