New Found Glory Ape Justice, Feature "Beatdowns" In New Clip


Where a French techno act would show teenagers assaulting and threatening passerby in their video, pop-punk bottom feeders New Found Glory have filmed themselves waving guns and abusing children while singing some godawful track that sounds like every else they've ever done over their interminable career. The band has yet to say whether the clip is intended to show "just how difficult it is today to control the destination of images and the integrity of their meaning," but give it time. [YouTube]

Stagnant Pop-Punk Band Acts Out On Unsuspecting Soundtracks

There is a time and a place for New Found Glory. The time is eighth grade, and the place is far, far away from famous movie songs. Their album From the Screen to Your Stereo Part 2, a sequel to their 2000 EP of the same name, is an abominable collection of soundtrack covers which have all been processed through Jordan Pundik's treacherous nasal cavity and come out even less interesting than you had assumed they would.
