Nick Carter is no doubt still reeling from the news that his sister Leslie has died in an apparent drug overdose, but he hasn't let that stop him from sharing his music with fans: "Performing is cathartic to me and I am dedicating the rest of my tour to my sister since she loved to watch me perform,” he said in a statement. Nick carried on with that sentiment Wednesday night at Irving Plaza in New York City, where he said: "I've never done this before, and I never thought I'd ever have to, but I'd like to dedicate this song to my sister," before launching into "Falling Down" from his solo album I'm Taking Off. Nick Carter And Jennifer Paige Duet On ‘Beautiful Lie’
Fri Nov 13 2009 by Robbie Daw
The Backstreet Boys are currently wowing England with their This Is Us tour. But for those who sit around scratching their heads wondering what Nick Carter gets up to during his off time, it appears as if he records electro-pop duets with singers whose albums only come out in Germany.
You may remember Jennifer Paige from her none-too-shabby 1998 hit “Crush.” She recently enlisted the vocal talents of the youngest BSB member for her song “Beautiful Lie” (not, incidentally, a 30 Seconds To Mars cover). And great news, Germans—it’s going to be included on the re-release of Paige’s third album Best Kept Secret, out November 20!
