Nick Jonas The Latest Cute Young Male Singer To Star In ‘How To Succeed’

If you are a young, handsome actor-singer-dancer, chances are you will at some point star in the current Broadway production of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. Nick Jonas — whose musical theatre credits include Beauty And The Beast on Broadway, Les Miserables in London and Hairspray at the Hollywood Bowl — will appear in the show starting January 24, 2012, replacing Glee's Darren Criss in the role of J. Pierpont Finch. (Criss himself will be replacing current star Daniel Radcliffe). After Jonas, may we suggest Chris Colfer or Zac Efron for the part? [Via EW Music Mix]

Nick Jonas Covers Lady Gaga And Bruno Mars At Microsoft Store

Apparently there's a Microsoft Store in Los Angeles now, and Nick Jonas performed outside of it over the weekend. During his set, the theatrical pop singer covered Lady Gaga's "The Edge Of Glory" and Bruno Mars' "Just The Way You Are" on acoustic guitar, and did a more convincing job than Microsoft is at trying to mimic Apple's tech-loving and loiter-friendly watering holes. After getting tres dramatique in Les Miserables, theatre-lover Nick Jonas is heading back to the stage. The youngest JoBro will star in a three-date engagement of the Tony-winning musical Hairspray, playing at the Hollywood Bowl this August. Nick will be playing heartthrob Link Larkin, the role originated on Broadway by Glee's Matthew Morrison, and also played by Zac Efron in the big-screen adaption. Check out the rest of the cast below.
