Ah, Facebook—such an electronic bridge across the miles. Such an aid for the closet cyberstalker in us all. And most importantly, such a tool for creating cleverly-titled fan groups. Yes, the days of squeaky clean Mickey Mouse Club-type worship are over. One sweep through the blue-hued social networking site turns up such quirky Internet gathering places as—brace yourselves—Joe Jonas In Skinny White Jeans and I LOL'd When I Saw What Simon Cowell Looked Like Upside Down.
And since we recently had such a grand ol' time piecing together the greatest hits of the Because Of Nicki Minaj Twitter hashtag, we decided to scour Facebook (which—raise a glass—just turned six last month) and cull together a list of some of the more, uh, unconventional pop star fan groups.

The Kids Choice Awards nominations were announced, and although some people think you can only be a Lady Gaga fan or a Taylor Swift fan because of their polar-opposite ideologies, apparently children are able to idolize both artists simultaneously. Gaga and Swift are head-to-whatever-is-resting-on-Lady-Gaga's-head-at-the-time in two categories, Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Song. Will the kid-approved accolades be won by the ingenue who dreams of princesses and boys, or the performance artist who fantasizes about setting fire to the man who purchased her in a bath house? The “We Are The World 25 For Haiti” Video

After all the press coverage and buildup over the past two weeks, the 25th anniversary update of "We Are The World" finally premiered Friday during the opening of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Jamie Foxx introduced the Paul Haggis-directed video for the charity song by asking viewers to "do more than just watch—reach deep into your hearts and give anything you can, as we have, for Haiti."
Both the digital single and music video were added to iTunes Friday night, with proceeds going to Haiti earthquake relief efforts. Watch the full eight-minute-and-30-second clip—which features everyone from Pink and Justin Bieber to Barbra Streisand and Janet Jackson—below the jump. More »

Separated from his dreamy-eyed big bros and the Mouse House, Nick Jonas, Solo Artist has really come into his own. In the modest, bare bones black-and-white vid for "Olive and an Arrow," Nick and his Administration jam in the studio, and Jonas pulls off a falsetto Robin Thicke could be proud of. Not to mention, with his expressive facial expressions and ability to croon and work the guitar simultaneously, we get a major John Mayer vibe from him, too. (We hope that's where the similarities end, as Nick discussing his solo bedroom habits to Rolling Stone might just be too much for us.) Watch the video below.

Is there any slowing down the walking promo machine that is Nick Jonas? In the past four days alone he presented at the Grammys, recorded vocals for "We Are The World," performed on the Santa Monica Pier and—oh, right—released a new album.
Yesterday Jonas added to his schedule by swinging by the set of The Ellen DeGeneres Show to shill Who I Am and avoid questions about his supposed relationship with Selena Gomez. (In response, the artful-dodging JoBro said that he just wants "to play music. I'll play another song, maybe...")
Alas, sorry, kiddies—Nick didn't follow in Adam Lambert's footsteps by offering up his skivvies to Ellen's online auction benefiting Haiti relief efforts. Instead, he opted for handing over five signed copies of his CD. (Zzzzzz.) Catch Nick getting grilled by Ellen and performing "Who I Am" below the jump! More »

A video of the VMAN cover guy banging out Beyonce's "Halo" and Lady Gaga's "Poker Face"—albeit for about five seconds each—was added to the Jonas Brothers' official YouTube channel today. And the trio's fellow "We Are The World" participant Jordin Sparks just happened to be on hand to join in on the shenanigans. Granted, Nick's stab a silly humor is a little schmaltzy. But we're just still enthralled with Joe Jonas' geek chic look. So let's head below and get another look at those Clark Kent specs! More »

With songs like “Who I Am” and “Conspiracy Theory” already burnin’ up fans’ iPods, the band (which includes former members of Prince’s New Power Generation), kicked off a series of shows at L.A.’s Wiltern theater.
