Today kicks off Memorial Day weekend, and the perfect person to help ring in the summer season is party-meister Pitbull, who performed a handfull of his hits during the Today show’s outdoor concert series. Mr. Worldwide got the crowd cheering with “International Love,” “Give Me Everything”, “I Know You Want Me” and “Back In Time”, the lead single from the Men In Black III soundtrack. Watch him break a sweat below, and look out for his seventh studio LP, Global Warming.

British R&B singer Jay Sean resurfaces in the video for ”I’m All Yours”, the lead single off his forthcoming album Worth It All (which was once referred to as Freeze Time). The clip features the Brit enjoying his time on this side of the Atlantic as he drives around Miami in fancy cars and parties all night long in even fancier yacht. (Just how fancy is this boat? Not T-Pain levels of decadence, but posh enough for Birdman to come aboard.) Pitbull also drops in briefly, though only through the magic of an extraordinarily tacky green screen. Seriously, was it that difficult to get Pitbull to head down to Miami? He’s from there!

The 2012 Billboard Music Awards turned into the 2012 Adele Awards, as the British songstress was honored with 12 awards, including Top Artist, during the show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Party-meisters LMFAO also walked away with some major booty — six trophies, to be precise, with their smash single “Party Rock Anthem” nabbing the award in three separate musical genre categories (Top Pop, Rap and Dance Song).

The night’s other big winners include Woman Of The Year Taylor Swift (who kept her “surprised” face to a minimum level of shock, as she had no competition in this category), Lil Wayne picking up trophies for Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Album and Top Male Artist, and Coldplay winning Top Alternative Artist, Top Rock Artist and Top Rock Album. Check out the full list of winners below.

Pitbull is typically one to crash parties, but in the video for his new single “Back In Time”, he’s crashing a movie. Through the magic of cinematic technology, the Miami MC appears in several scenes in the new Men In Black 3 film, but lucky for him, it’s not all alien-chasing and time-travelling chaos — there’s a swingin’ 60s party and some lovely ladies from the past and present to keep him occupied. Watch above, and check out the blockbuster pic in theaters on May 25. 

Pitbull and his crew travelled a bit more south than his native town of Miami for a live performance of his Men In Black 3 theme “Back In Time” in Cancun. Mr. Worldwide looked like a Man In Black himself, rocking a black suit and some shades as he performed the “Love Is Strange”-sampling tune to a cheering, most likely inebriated crowd. Join the party by watching above, and get ready for it to get sweltering hot this Summer when Pitbull releases his seventh studio album, Global Warming.

If the glittering orgy-in-a-perfume-bottle video concept for her new Red One-produced, Pitbull-guesting club anthem “Dance Again” is in any way autobiographical, Jennifer Lopez wants you to know that she’s really over being married. Because “dance again”? Come on, it’s a metaphor for doing it, you guys!

The video opens with the message: “Always remember… You will live / You will love / You will dance again”, which may be a reference to her divorce from Marc Anthony. Though their break didn’t appear contentious — the pair are reuniting for their upcoming reality singing competition ¡Q’Viva! — JLo fully embraces her single status, falling into a swarm of writhing half-naked bodies at the bottom of a bottle of her signature scent Glowing. She spots her real-life boyfriend, dancer Casper Smart, and the two unite for a risque dance duet — which again, metaphor.

Usher isn’t the only one releasing his seventh studio album this year. Less than a year after Planet Pit became a hit, Pitbull is already planning the release of his next project, Global Warming. The Miami artist’s seventh LP, which will drop this Summer, will include the Shakira-featuring lead single “Get It Started”. It’s a busy time for Mr. Worldwide: he recently re-teamed with Jennifer Lopez for her new single “Dance Again”, drummed up the new Men In Black song “Back In Time”, and will hit up KIIS FM’s Wango Tango in May.

We’ve been teased throughout the week with snippets of Jennifer Lopez’s new single “Dance Again”, but now the full song has arrived via an official lyric video. Last year, J.Lo dominated radio with “On The Floor”, a team-up with rapper Pitbull and producer RedOne. And clearly the thinking here is that if it ain’t broke, why bother trying to fix it? Thankfully, the result is a far superior and much more euphoric dance-pop offering than “On The Floor”. Hear it below!

RedOne and his most famous collaborator Lady Gaga penned tracks for Lopez’s 2011 album Love? But rather than mimic Gaga’s sound, the American Idol judge goes for more of a cheery, almost Kylie Minogue-esque dance-pop vibe with “Dance Again”. If we were gamblers, we’d put our money on this becoming another huge hit for J.Lo & Co.

If that short snippet of Jennifer Lopez’s new single “Dance Again” wasn’t quite enough to get your toes tapping, you’re in luck — a full minute of the song has now made its way online. Like with her 2011 smash “on The Floor”, Vogue cover girl J.Lo teamed up with producer RedOne and rapper Pitbull for the upbeat jam. Get a longer preview of it after the jump.

“Baby your fire is lighting me up, the way that you move, boy, is reason enough that I love to make love to you, baby,” Lopez coos while Pitbull adlibs in the background. The full song is due to arrive tomorrow, with the video premiering on American Idol on April 5.

Dare we say it, this is sounding like it could just be the TV show judge’s best pop offering to date.

Pitbull, taking over the reigns from retired rapper Will Smith, channels two very different, very famous film soundtracks with his Men In Black 3 song “Back In Time”. The Miami MC’s song shares the same title to Huey Lewis & The News’ timeless tune from Back To The Future, and the hook comes right from Micky & Sylvia’s “Love Is Strange”, which you will immediately recognize from Baby and Johnny’s slinky dance rehearsal in Dirty Dancing. But with a dubstep breakdown (how vogue!). If that sounds like an absolute delight for your eardrums, listen below.

As far as Men In Black songs go, this is infinitely better than “Black Suits Comin’ (Nod Ya Head)”, nowhere near as memorable as the original “Forget Me Nots”-sampling “Men In Black”, and basically has nothing to do with aliens. Pretty disappointing.

KIIS FM’s annual Wango Tango music event is typically jam-packed with (pop) star power, but the 2012 edition seems even bigger than usual. The May 12 event, which will take place at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA, will include peformances by Nicki Minaj, Pitbull, Maroon 5, Foster the People, B.o.B, The Wanted, Gym Class Heroes, J. Cole, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, K’Naan, Chiddy Bang, Wallpaper. and Diggy Simmons. Also on hand will be Justin Bieber, though he won’t be performing — he’ll be introducing his new label signee, Carly Rae Jepsen.We’ll be disappointed if he didn’t sing at least a few lines from his new single “Boyfriend”, though.

Fifteen years after they first made this look good, the Men in Black will return to cinemas on May 25 for the third installment in the sci-fi franchise. But one thing has changed over the last decade and a half — the film’s star isn’t so much a rapper anymore. Thus it will be Pitbull, not Will Smith (nor any of his other musical family members) providing the film’s theme song. Men in Black 3 will find the “Candy” man following up Big Willie’s “Men in Black” and “Black Suits Comin’ (Nod Ya Head)” with the new track “Back in Time.” Find out more below.

In our estimation, the Men in Black soundtracks have not withstood the test of time, and we can’t even remember the last time we heard a song that so blatantly exists solely to promote a summer blockbuster. (Oh, yes we can. It was 1997′s “Men in Black.”) So even though we might have preferred some sort of next-generation Willow and Jaden collaboration, Pitbull seems a worthy enough successor.

Now the song’s had an overhaul by producer RedOne and “International Love” rapper Pitbull, who appears on the remix aimed at the American market. Far East Movement’s collaboration with fellow party lover Pitbull on new song “Candy” is pretty much everything you’d expect — a speedy pace perfect for grinding on the dancefloor; shout-outs to Miami; unsubtle double entendres; and several demands for women to “shake that thing, girl, let me see what you got.” One thing we did not expect: to be playing this song multiple times in a row. “Candy” will appear on Far East Movement’s upcoming album Dirty Bass, which also features collaborations with Rye Rye and Justin Bieber, of all people.

Nicki Minaj entertained the NBA All-Star Game crowd on Sunday at Orlando’s Amway Center by performing her new hit “Starships” as well as last year’s summer jam “Super Bass”, the latter of which required a wig color swap from lime green to purple. Meanwhile, Pitbull headlined during halftime with an array of hits and guests that included not only his “Give Me Everything” collaborators Ne-Yo and Nayer, but also Chris Brown. Breezy did vocal chores on the Miami MC’s “International Love” and also offered a few lines from his own single “Turn Up The Music” during the medley. Be a sport and watch below.

The NBA All-Star Game will be an event both basketball fans and Top 40 worshipers won’t want to miss. Pitbull and Ne-Yo will perform “Give Me Everything” at the All-Star Game Halftime Show, while Nicki Minaj will perform a medley of her songs (including her new single “Starships”, and hopefully omitting “Roman Holiday”). The following day, Flo Rida and will.i.am will perform during the NBA All-Star Saturday Night events, and Gym Class Heroes and J. Cole will kick off the whole shebang at the NBA All-Star Pregame Show. Oh, and if that wasn’t enough for you, Mary J. Blige will perform the National Anthem, too. [Billboard]

The Hillywood Show, responsible for the frighteningly good “This Is Gagaween” Lady Gaga parody, have released a new video, and their latest creation mocks Twilight: Breaking Dawn. Besides showing just how ridiculous that movie is (we still refuse to believe that Jacob falls in love with an infant), the vid uses pop songs as its soundtrack: Bella, in bridal wear, starts out singing “I’m gonna marry Edward” to the tune of Gaga’s “Marry The Night”, and Pitbull and Ne-Yo’s “Give Me Everything” becomes Edward’s wedding night serenade. Pitbull jets off to France to hook up with Dominican rap star Sensato for “Latinos In Paris”, a re-flip of the oft-performed Watch The Throne smash “Ni**as in Paris”. The two rappers (who last collaborated on “Crazy People”) take to the streets of the City Of Light, dropping verses in front of the Eiffel Tower. Is it provocative? Does it get the people going? Note they switch up the song’s lyrics to “Flow so hard that chico get crazy”, but we figure that if you’ve earned yourself a private jet, you can take a little license. We’re not expecting this one to storm the charts, but it’s at least as adventurous as Robin Thicke’s laid-back cover. Well, pop music fans, it’s that time again. Time to say goodbye to what’s past and look ahead to something fresh. Maybe you plan to party like it’s 1999, or maybe you’re spending a cozy evening indoors away from the debauchery. If your answer is the latter, thank your lucky (pop) stars that performers like Nicki Minaj, Drake, Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, and Jessie J are painting the town to ensure those of us sitting home when the ball drops still have a magnificent time. You likely have seen the viral video of Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt singing “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?”, and if that inquiry is lingering in your mind regarding your favorite musical acts, find your answer below.

The most musical bang for your buck can be found at the ABC holiday mainstay Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve (8 PM), co-hosted by Ryan Seacrest, which starts incredibly early yet still goes very late. It will unfortunately not feature any musicians you’ve ever heard of — just Lady Gaga, LMFAO, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Hot Chelle Rae, Gym Class Heroes, Pitbull, will.i.am, Florence + The Machine — and, rumor has it, an appearance from a still-preggers Beyonce. Fergie will also present a segment looking back at the best performances in the show’s history. Rockin’, indeed.

But if all that’s a little too much for you, perhaps NBC’S New Year’s Eve With Carson Daly (10 PM) is more your scene. Carson’s got a rather rockin’ lineup of his own to share, with performances by Drake, Jessie J, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green,and Tony Bennett, along with a look back at the year in music (if you didn’t get quite enough in our coverage of such things).

BET’s 106th & Party (11 PM) naturally features a more hip hop-flavored lineup including Young Jeezy, Yelawolf, Tyga, Waka Flocka Flame, and B.o.B., if that’s your preference.

And if none of that quite does it for you, maybe MTV’s NYE In NYC (11 PM) will capture the frigid excitement of Times Square for you. Co-hosted by Demi Lovato, the broadcast will feature live sets from Selena Gomez, Jason Derulo, and J. Cole.
