Those of you who have been waiting for the Idolator Podcast to return will be relieved to hear that it's been brought out of its technological mire, and it's ready to automatically grab all of the MP3s that we post once again. For those of you who aren't aware of our podcast it's actually a neat little application: Once you subscribe, our podcast imports the MP3s we post every day into your music program/RSS reader of choice—so on the off chance that you're out enjoying the sunshine, you won't miss any of our daily MP3 selections.

When Will You See The Idolator Podcast Smile Again?
The Idolator podcast—that nifty tech-thing that allows you to dump our MP3s onto your iTunes or somesuch—is still down. Just how down, you ask? Let's put it this way: For some reason, the only thing it's picked up recently is a video clip of Rosie O'Donnell discussing Les Mis (really). We're sorry for the continual eff-ups, especially on a day when we post Shellac and Linear, but we're working to get it fixed.

Speaking Of Rehab, The Idolator Podcast Is Suffering From "Exhaustion"
For those of you wondering what's going on with the Idolator podcast, well, nothing's going on. It's down, and it's apparently been acting screwy for the last few days. Apple Wants You To Kneel Before "Pod"!
It's been brewing for a few days now, but it looks as though Apple is really going through with its decision to crack down on anyone using the term "podcast." They've sent a cease-and-desist letter to Podcast Ready, a software company that recently launched an iPod-compatible program called MyPodder. At stake here is whether Apple owns the trademark to "podcast," a debate that could go to court. And what a fun, sexy case that will be.
