I note that you don't mention that Battles at No 1 and Paul Rooney at No 5 are both perfect examples of exciting and excellent new artists / tracks that had Peel still been with us I'm sure would have brought to our attention himself - no nostalgia there.

Dandelion Radio is run by unpaid amateurs and between the 10 or so of us if we can find a quarter of the good new music that Peel used to, then we will have done something useful!

i just thought it was a little strange in comparison to the other lists you have covered which have, in the main, been the big publications and it felt like you were giving this tiny fanzine an equal weight as though it was a magazine of record [hem hem], rather than "here's a neat top 20 i found", if you see what i mean.

actually that's not so much in this piece, where there is that sort of background, but the first with the whole top 100 where i was just like, what *is* this thing?
